I gotta say this match was really fun to watch. The way how it was done was pretty tense in terms of developing the team mates of Nekoma. It is still sad to see the other team lose since they also gave it their all.

Can anybody explain me what's with the qualification process? Nekoma lost to Fukorodani yet Nekoka qualified to the next round.

Nohebi's motto is fair and square but they're conniving!! Annoying!! I didn't expect Nekoma will have a hard time to win, I thought they're strong like Shiratorizawa.

Hmmm Mika is pretty! Lucky that guy even he's annoying lol

I'm confused though, so who's the representative for Tokyo? Fukurodani?

Oh?? Really? So Fukurodani and Nekoma is going to Nationals right?
While in Miyagi prefecture, only one representative? (Karasuno)

A little bit disappointing, not much effort was put into animating this apart from 2 or 3 short scenes. For some reason I feel that Nekoma is so lackluster compared to Aoba Johsai and Shiratorizawa. I'm glad these chapters were adapted in OVA form though, so they don't take away from the actual series. I just didn't feel that usual intensity in matches, possibly because I don't feel very attached to anyone on these teams at all except maybe Bokuto, or the leader of Nekoma. A missed opportunity in teasing the guy whos wearing the facemask.

Could someone explain to me how the Nationals work? If I recall correctly, only one team in Karasuno's division or whatever was able to advance, but it seems three did for this one? Is that due to their region being larger or something? I'm not too sure how these japanese tournaments function.

To be honest, I was more rooting for Daisho and Kuguri to win this match.

Very nice match! And best of all, Nekoma won! The match was getting hard and the table had turned to the better. Couldn't ask for more :D

Great episode! Hinata spotted a boar and freaked out XD Too funny!

ok so im confused by something. I thought that like, each region has their own pool of matches and then one team is selected to represent that region in nationals. Why were three teams selected here?

Like throughout season 2/3 the stakes were that if karasuno lost any match they would be out of the tournament (as far as i know). Only two teams made it to the final (shiratorizawa and karasuno) and the winner was the only team going to nationals

so why over here they selected 3 representative teams? and nekoma was given more chances to win? i didnt understand that

They really cut too much out of these, and some of the cuts made the action hard to follow at times. I know that they want to keep things moving, but these parts deserved a bit more love.

Oh, this episode was much better than the first, I liked that we got little more insights into the characters and the game overall felt more exciting. But actually, it was to be expected that Nekoma is destined to play Karasuno.

That boar at the end though, lol. Hinata is way too hyped for his own good.

This was... underwhelming, considering it's bloody Haikyuu we're talking about. Still, the second half of the second episode gave me some of them good old vibes so maybe season 4 might turn out okay after all.

Lev's sister is cute!
Screw Nohebi, getting on the ref's good side only to cheat their way through when it's needed ... and still lost.

I enjoyed it but it did feel like; "We have to show Nekoma made it through aswell so here's a few scenes showing they did"
It wasn't even close to the same hype we got from previous seasons.

Made no sense to me. They should have explained 3 teams going through more thoroughly. I was confused the whole time as to why Nekoma got a second chance, and ended up focusing on that too much which halted my enjoyment.

7/10, the rest of Haikyuu has been at least 8 so far. Odd.

I love Nekoma as a team, they're kinda cool. OVA feels rushed a bit.
All weebs creatures of the galaxy, hear this message. Those of you who listen will not be struck by western animation. You will no longer know hunger, nor pain. Your Anime have come to lead you now. Our strength shall serve as a luminous sun toward which all intelligence may blossom. And the impervious shelter beneath which you will prosper. However, for those who refuse our offer and cling to their western animation ways… For you, there will be great wrath.

A good episode. Liked seeing Nekoma play. Felt little bad for Nohebi too though.

So Nekoma has qualified for the Nationals. Fukurodani takes the 2nd slot and Itachiyama takes the 1st.

If I remember correctly, Sakusa is from Itachiyama. He was mentioned in Season 2. Can't wait to see them play.

Enjoyed this OVA a lot. It made me like Yaku way more so now Kenma and Kuroo aren't the only ones from Nekoma that I love and also loved seeing Bokuto and Akaashi again.

Im so happy to find out that Tokyo has 3 spots since they host and also they are much bigger which makes a lot of sense. I kept thinking about how impossible it is for them to advance given how many good teams Tokyo has. Very satisfying ending. And now, it begins!!!
Come on man, where is that Noragami season 3 masterpiece. We want it, Bones!

well, that felt cheap as the first ova.
any character development they did her felt raw and without real impact.

basically they done this ova only to write "check" on this manga material.
maybe they didn't even had to do it . . .
