Weathering With You
| YES i have not watched your name (i plan to one day) BUT weathering with you is coming to where I live (and to the cinema it's such a short journey) however i want to know if it's necessary for me to have watched your name before it. i know that people are saying that it has connections and all but it's not like a sequel or anything. so i'm just wondering whether i should watch your name before weathering with you. |

| Technically, it's not a sequel, as it is a completely stand alone film. That being said, there are little nods and references that are callbacks to Your Name, without going too deep into specifics, so I'd would highly recommend you watch Your Name before seeing Weathering with You. |
| There are some easter eggs from your name in weathering with you, but if you've got the opportunity to see it where you are go for it. It's seriously a great film, better than your name imo |

| Not at all. There are a few short scenes where there are some Easter eggs for those who watched Your Name but they don’t serve anything to the plot and just serve as some fan service for those who watched Your Name. You should definitely see both as they are both incredible films. |
