| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Interesting attitude Sawamura is showing to Mei this episode. In fact, I think his confidence has been growing a lot in these past few episodes.The amount of strength he puts into those plays...not bad. This episode had a decent amount of hype behind it with the ongoing match if you ask me. |

| Seems like the anime continues the bad tradition of TELLING more than it SHOWS. Might just be fatigue, but to me, Yamamori was far more interesting than most of the other teams at this point, but instead of watching that match, we're only treated to a few bits and pieces of it, the rest only gets narrated. Just so we can have speeches and too many unnecessary "dramatic" closeups and stills. That one random scene from the other match with Miyuki just felt like they wanted to put him in the episode too but couldn't really figure out how. And then - oh btw Seido lost. What is that even..... and then The Rise of Sawamura, because ofc, why not. At least Kuramochi getting everyone on the "let's kick his ass" bandwagon got a laugh out of me. The rest... eh. 13 episodes to go and I've no idea how it's gonna conclude with this errant pacing. |
This made me happy af, the coach countung on Eijun more and more. Really hyped to see Okamura and Eijun playing together, the start was already marvelous. |

| From a character I hate, into a character I love. Go Sawamura! Kinda lost interest in the all-star game and I'm more interested in Sawamura's game now haha. Hope it doesn't keep flickering back and forth between the game during next episode. |

| I feel for Yui, he wanted so much to show what he is capable of doing, but I guess it wasn't his day, and I'm sure that it wasn't easy for Furuya either. But well, Kataoka said that to Sawamura, and I'm sure that Sawamura was able to really shake Koushuu as well. It was amazing too, Sawamura's strong will while he is on the mound. |

| I remember reading this part in the manga, it was such an amazing moment! So proud of Eijun being entrusted to lead the team, and not even the regulars, no less! I love how Koushuu just went along with Eijun's breathing, he's respecting Eijun more and more now. Especially when right from the start, Eijun wasn't fazed at all. He's finally understanding what it means to be in a battery! |

| Sadly the winning streak is broken but we still got Eijun's incredible pitches here which were just pure hype to see. Also love the taking in huge breaths Eijun did with Okumura. |

| What is going on with everybody today. Alright nvm he’s doing much better now. Once again, Yuki is talking to us from heaven, blessing us with his voice. The author has something against Yui cause come on, that was the last straw. What a terrible day to be in the first string. I knew it was broken. At least, Yui still has a chance. OH MY GOSH HE SAID IT. “LEAD THE TEAM” LETS FREAKING GO!! I’ve been waiting for the coach to relay on Eijun and is finally happening. Why do you have such long nose sir but then the coach has an interesting nose too. Okumura is doing the breathings with Eijun. Im so proud of Eijun, I love how he told Okumura that he trusts him. He’s definitely doing a great job leading the team. Even the manager has noticed how Eijun has grown and how motivated his presence is. I’m so emotional right now, he’s doing such an amazing job right now. YOSH YOSH YOSH |
