A Certain Magical Index (light novel)
| If you don't want to watch Index III the alternatives are the manga adaptation of the novel which is at one chapter per month and currently at ch.144. So you need to start around the volume 20. But it is actually right now adapting in the Battle Royale Arc. For a comparision it is around episode 4-5 of Index III. So the only real alternative is to read the novel starting at Volume 14. |
| they adapted from volume 14 to volume 22 ( and skipped a side story volume ) if you want to read the manga start from chapter 123 ( the manga adapted volume 14 and is finishing volume 15 now ) |
