Please disregard nostalgia and judge based on the quality of the actual show, I know each series has multiple seasons of high an low points but what’s the best as a whole.

For me it’s Digimon due to its complex themes, great fights, developed characters. Beyblade comes in second and the forgotten show Medabots comes in third.

So like 95% of the people here are too young to remember it, I'm betting but I adored this show:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Littl%27_Bits

It's...not even listed on this site lol

I also watched this a lot too:

https://myanimelist.net/anime/4060/Grimm_Masterpiece_Theater?q=grim, also this and this.

Out of this list I’ve only watch 2 as a youngster. By youngsters I mean middle school and my Pokémon phase. But I think Digimon was the one that intrigue me the most! It was so interesting and the plot was so heavy! I kept on revisiting it! I even tried to watch all of the Tri Movies as they came out, but due to their inconsistency in release, I kind of got behind and eventually I grew out of it.

I haven't watched any of them on your list. The only anime that I remember watching as a child is Nils Holgersson .

I've seen from this list Pokemon, Digimon, YGO, Beyblade, Shaman King and Mega Man, but I voted for others, because Inuyasha is still one of my favorite anime.

Medabots easily that show is awesome if youre a fan of sakuga animation since simple character designs like it has given animators way more time and freedom to animate things good

Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Digimon, Megaman - in order of impact

Unlisted one that would go between Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh is Cardcaptor Sakura

My favorite Anime as a kid is something that not many knows and it is called "Time Travel Tondekeman!". I watched it when it was Arabic dubbed but I'm dying to re-watch it again with its native language with subs.

It's very fun, adventurous and funny show to watch.

Medabots.

I remember the animation being absolutely mental. More importantly though, it had MR REFEREE.

My childhood anime was Sailor Moon. Looking back on it now, I can see how horrible the 90's dub of it was, but back then, I didn't know any better, and I loved it.

Only seen a few episodes of Yugioh from this list, but as a kid I watched Astro boy (the early 2000's version). Brings back memories, I should rewatch it for old times sake.

I was well into adulthood when the oldest of these first aired. I could have watched "Kimba the White Lion" as a child if any of the TV stations in my area carried it, but as far as I know none of them did.

Inuyasha and One Piece
I was surprised when I started watching animes and found Inuyasha, and remembered that I have watched it on TV. When I was a kid that was one of my favourite shows, and it's pretty good.

Pokémon. Cutesy monsters battling to death, being enslaved and teaching children the worth of animal cruelty. Also Jim Halpert is my favorite Pokemon. Kawaii and hardworking. As they should be.

Pokemon was the best Anime title which I used to watch during my childhood days.
The show was broadcasted on National Television in English Dub, usually on the Saturday and Sunday morning timeslot.
That was prior to even knowing the difference between Western Cartoon and Japanese Anime.

I didn't watch any of those as a child. I was a teenager when I started and got into anime with Dragonball Z, Gundam W, Robotech, and Tenchi Muyo. The only anime I watched as kid was Transformers (1984) and Transformers: The Movie (1987) but I wasn't aware they were anime when I watched them.

Shaman King, but the manga is better. I mostly loved the cast and the nonchalant romantic relationship of Yoh and Anna, simply because you rarely see that in anime.

I was a teenager when half of those came out and in my early 20s when the other half came out...

Transformers wasn't an anime, a japanese person designed the robot designs and it was outsourced to a japanese animation company but that doesn't make it an anime. There were some japanese only spin offs though, and those can be considered anime.
Were you maybe thinking of Robotech, which was made up of multiple animes cut and pasted together.

Edited: Well I searched for it and much to my shock MAL considers it anime.... That doesn't sit right with me since by that standard you could consider 80% of the 80s action franchise cartoons as anime... but I'm not gonna start an argument over it...

Probably Urusei Yatsura.

Watched it as a kid and liked it, but didn't really understand the nuances, obviously. Was way too young for that.

Watched it again as an adult and loved it. It's a timeless classic.

I know right, but whatever it's +2 completions. Never checked out any of the other Japanese Transformers stuff though, I had a hard time just finishing season 3 and 4. The TV show was definitely not as enjoyable as an adult then when I was a small kid. The movie on the other hand is still one of my favorites.
