no news yet but im guessing it will at least be same characters since they shown SSSS.Gridman here

I’m so so so so happy about this!!!! SSSS.Gridman is my favorite thing Trigger (and Gainax) has done. I can’t wait to see this :D

yep and Rikka and Akane made Gridman so popular in Japan alone so it will be a huge waste if they at least did not return as a clone or alternative universe version to this new anime of Gridman
