Team USA faces against a team that they seems to have underestimated. The focus on the pitching this episode was really well done imo. It captured the frame moments to make the most impact. Great amount of confidence showed at the end there. |

| Too bad for Oono damn, seeing him cry like that really hurt and like that spectator said every year one of the players gets injured. Chris, Tanba and now Oono. Hope its nothing serious. Mei and Miyuki's battery was great and lol Mei looked down on Miyuki after that pitch. I hope Miyuki hits a home run in the koshien at the exact same pitch. |

| That injury seems serious. It will probably keep him off the roster, from how that looked. Is this battery the key to Seido winning against Inashiro? This gives Miyuki the time to prepare for the pitch Mei threw. |

| Hmm so Narumiya threw an OP pitch to Miyuki to show off his skills? But doesn't that just give Seido the advantage though? Miyuki should be sharp enough to gather a lot of info just from that pitch, even if he wasn't able to catch it. Unless... Mei has a lot of other new OP pitches that he has yet to show, then that probably can be a pretty good strategy. |

| Poor Ono-senpai, he was so close of moving on from that game, and he was playing so well too. But now he had to walk away with regrets and frustration again. It hurt to see what happened to his finger, and how he fought back the tears in the taxi. I guess it goes to show that there's always a risk while playing since there's what happened with Inui too. I thought it would be way more serious since he was hit in the head, but thankfully he seems fine. But I'm glad that Miyuki and Mei are playing as a battery, I loved when Mei told Miyuki to make him shine. XD I'm still curious about their "plan", and I don't understand what I was supposed to get from that last pitch Mei threw. I find it hard to believe he targeted Miyuki or something, he wouldn't hurt him. Now showing off a good pitch? I can see that. |

| Seeing Ono crying is really heartbreaking. He was entrusted with an important position, but he wasn't able to follow through because of an accident...he must've felt a lot of pressure and duty because he's always been second to Miyuki, but with Miyuki being away, he's now in a different position. Eijun, as always, is positive, but he knows when to stop as well. After Ono apologizing to him despite him saying that they don't know if it's really that bad until he sees the doctor, Eijun realizes the seriousness of the situation. You can tell he's starting to change gears after that moment. As for the other game, it sucks that Inui also had an accident :( Though I love how he still tagged the batter out right after he momentarily blacked out. Instinct is amazing. Which leads to Miyuki and Mei making art; they would probably be the most powerful battery for Japan's high school baseball, but it's clear that Mei is still somehow trying to compete with Miyuki, even as a battery, lmao. That's so Mei. I've said it many times, but Mei's the type of arrogant character I tend to dislike, yet I love him and can't help being hyped whenever he shows his haughty expression. |

| Well at least we get to see a good match and a good battery between Mei and Kazuya, idk man i feel they wasted a whole season just for character development, im sure this season will come to an end after only one or two matches in the summer tournament, shame and i was waiting months for this season to end so i can binge it, it was pointless after all... |

| I see last episode bit of focus on Ono was just a 'deathflag' for him to get injured here. Cool to see Mei - Miyuki battery, I wish Raichi could've also joined the all-star team because iof his crazy batting and also just him in general socialising would be fun to see |

| That was unfortunate for Ono, the moment he started to get more screen time, he immediately got injured. Another one, are all the catchers dying today for some reason. Yui is going in, let’s see how he does for this game. Oh man, I feel terrible for Ono, he’s out for the season with the injury. Miyuki and Mei? We’re actually going to see this battery. What was that, Mei don’t play with me right now. Carlos said “You wanna see some real speed” lmao |
