| There was some uncertainty within the fandom that if Pikachu would lose to Scorbunny (because "reset"), but in the end we saw that it wasn't so. Next episode, Gigantamax! PD: Zacian and Zamazenta in the OP was a surprise... |

| Can’t wait to see Gou catch the Scorbunny. I wonder how Scordbunny will convince Gou to take it since the next episode preview looks like Gou will reject it at first. Overall cute episode. This series just makes me happy. |

| I love how Satoshi found a good place for them to eat with his nose, and how he got super excited with "tiny thingies", that was cute. xD And Hibunny was cool too! I mean, he picked on Satoshi, but Pikachu was there to defend him, even if by hitting him as well. lol The Kusune were also kind of cool. They felt grateful towards Hibunny and that's why they threw him on that train, so that he could get to know how big the world is with Gou. Here's hoping Gou will give up on Mew being his first pokémon in the next episode... He might not have chosen Hibunny, but Hibunny chose him. And the OP changed and is now showing Zacian and Zamazenta too. |

| Ash and Pikachu really are the same haha, this duo has been through so much already. Scorbunny's introduction was very solid, his friendship with the Kusunes was pretty touching, doing his best to be like them and helping them out from being hungry. Looks like they learned quite some tricks from him and seeing how he felt after this meeting, they made sure to push him to make the move and try to join Gou at the train, best bros! I hope they do well from now on, although I wish they found a home q_q |

| I think Scorbunny is just going to tag along the trio for the time being... I'm really enjoying this series, it's already building up to be at the level of the first season of XY! @chazea It's not a gym focussed series.... according to the episode list they're going to Hoenn and Sinnoh as well. |

| @EmilyAmandala you should give sun and moon another chance, it's a really good region with fresh atmosphere and you will be missing one of the best episodes of pokemon in general if you skipped it, anyway this season take place after sun and moon you can watch this without that too but I wouldn't recommend it since you won't be able to appreciate the charm of gen 7 and Satoshi is exactly same as he was in sun and moon in this region but with different art style. |

| Ash and Go are kind in this episode. Even though they stole their food, ran away and caused them much trouble, Go stands up for Hibunny. I was actually expecting them to catch it :p . (I'm an old gen guy). Then there's this over ambitious starter choice-Mew. I mean, why does Go, who's so much knowledge about Pokémon realize it? Also, the Rotom phone's not identifying Hibunny thr a layer of dirt? Seriously? Even pokedex can identify a Meowth in disguise. |

| wait this is a netflix original series? when did netflix get hold on pokemon? so we get to see the fire starter pokemon of this series but we didn't get to see a fire-type move. maybe the ability scorbunny used is a fire type? it looked like a quick attack but it left burn marks on the floor... |

| Finally, the introduction to the Galar region. Imagine living in the world of Pokemon and having to deal with this random Nickit stealing your stuff. Just on a daily basis. Or basically every other major Pokemon based inconvenience. It would be exhausting to say the least. I don't know how there can be legitimate businesses? Suddenly Gou/h is the voice of reason and Ash is back to being goofy. At least it seems like he's going to be somewhat competent this season. |
