| I don't know, as soon as I found out he was an "evolved/alternative" version of I stopped caring, not that I cared for him much to begin with. If I was going to go gay for a fate character it would be either for Gilgamesh (Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya) version, or Emiya Kiritsugu (Fate zero). |

If they had decided to show us his transition from red haired idealistic prick to tanned white haired fake, I might have had a different opinion, but they didn't. Thing is the protagonist from Rewrite s2 has a somewhat similar experience to Shirou as he is transitioning in to Archer (Exept that mc I actually liked). But that doesn't make me hate Shirou any less. |

| I thought you meant Archer from the animated TV Series 'Archer' and was gonna reply with 'Isn't it obvious?' But actually no idea what anyone sees in Fate Archer, or really any of the Fate characters from the main franchise. Saber and Rin are just as overrated as he is. |

| I think that article from knowyourmeme is enough to answer your question. I started the franchise with anime by Deen, and it's forgettable as hell, except for one thing, Archer. I didn't care at all about other characters like Lancer or Gilgamesh. Archer is the coolest character in Fate/Stay Night, no doubt about it. His "sacrifice" versus Berserker is the only real memorable moment to me from that anime. |

Honestly, I think there are quite a lot of us! At least from conventions I've attended. I've even dressed up as Saber myself. xD I think Fate is a series both genders can really enjoy...for the story AND all the pretty people, guys AND girls. though I wish Shirou was better-looking LOL |
