Good ol' Valve still can't count to three it seems lmao.

I'm curious to see how this will turn out. VR games have been rapidly improving these past few years, so I have solid expectations on this. Just please do a follow-up announcement on the third game soon.

Perfect ad for their VR headset.

"Now you can be the first to play Half-Life with our Index!"
"Only $499 ($999 for the whole bundle) and we'll include the game for FREE!"

Nice to see Internet Historian and DeSinc on the tweet. Hahahaha

Man, they've been mum for so long and just when I already lost my hope we'll ever get another Half-Life game again. It's been 12 fucking years!

VR needs solid exclusives if it wants to grow outside of the tiny niche that it is now. For me, I never played Half Life, so this isn't doing much for me, but it's still good to see a VR exclusivity push.

I always thought that Valve didn't bother with Half Life 3 because they couldn't come up with something as groundbreaking as the first and second game. I am not interested in VR myself, but it's good to see that at least someone is actively working on doing innovation in this branch of gaming. I do believe it will be a technological marvel, but I have a feeling that HL fans will be disappointed. Well, hopefully I am wrong on that.

G-Man smiling at the end. VR is expensive so i won't buy it and just watch the cutscenes on Youtube.

The hype is real...

However, I'm not buying a VR set just to play it, so.... yeah...

Guess I'll keep waiting for HL3.

I tried VR for a couple of minutes. It's too pixelated. Your eyeballs are right up against the crystals. Even with there being a couple of thousand of them, it looks kind of bad. I would also rather use an HDR display than these headsets that are unable to do HDR because they can't get bright enough. And it just doesn't seem worth it at all for games that aren't in first-person view (most games).

As nice as this looks, I probably won't even bother if I can't play it in 2D. I know the modders will try.

PC/Videogames can be fun, but they are rotting are youths minds. I have never played this game, but my vote is a 0 as I believe you people should be finding more worthwhile things to do. In any case, thank you for reading this, and do not take this comment personally, as it is simply my thoughtful, yet completely true opinion.

Greedy valve scumfucks use the wrong way to test the water, so the only thing that you can expect from them is big pile of turds

Let's be real, "big" titles won't help VR to surpass XboX, PS, PC etc.

I appreciate what Half-Life 2 did for games with revolutionizing the concept of physics engines (though other games had them earlier), but I honestly didn't like it from a plot standpoint. Half Life 1 and Opposing Force will always be my favorites.
