I know right... this is incredibly frustrating after what we've all just witnessed lol.

Also there is no way we're only getting 1 episode after a month and a half of waiting. I've been around for a while and this is pretty much unprecedented.

I will theorize and say they decided to make it look more like a full-fledged film and release whole thing at once, but to avoid messing up the schedule they will just wait until the final time-slot and throw it all in.
Unless we are literally only getting one episode after a 6 week delay.

Really December, not november? Weird. Now if this was before christmas and they wanted to delay to not release violent stuff at christmas ... would have been understandable.

With 8 and still some more episodes left and a big delay now ... maybe they'll just release everything then. (Similar to the beginning when 1-3 was released.)

As far as I can tell they can't drag it to January because new anime Pet ( by the same producer "Twin engine" ) starts airing. So their is 2 option they are lying and we are airing will happen as usual or we going to get all 5 episodes at once at December 30th.

None of this makes sense as far as how the industry works in general. Twin Engine is not making the anime, it's Revoroot. Twin Engine is the producer, not the production studio. Pet will be made by the production studio, Geno Studio. So there is no link between these two.

I am not saying that they making they are producers which fund anime and Revoloot and Geno are there studios.

Revoroot and Geno Studio are both subsidiaries of Twin Engine. They give the anime projects to these studios and fund them. They even share staffs. I'm guessing this is either a problem with Amazon which is airing this show or a problem with the studio working on it. Who knows, maybe some important staff like the director or even the writer had health problems.

I guess it's a good decision, since they probably want to adapt the end of the story and the final volume isn't even out yet. The second last volume is pretty controversial among fans, so they might skip or rush the rell out of most of it.

The novel series was finished back in 2017, with the third novel titled "end". This is an adaptation based off of the novel, and not the manga.

Boogiepop did a similar thing earlier this year. They had 18 episodes but had to fit it into one cour so I think it was 4 or 6 episodes that they released at once. The thing is that with Babylon it's only supposed to be 12 episodes according to MAL, so rather than being a solution to a problem it would just be forcing the problem.

if that happens to be true, it sounds like the worst course they couldve taken for this show. Everyone watches it for the seizaki and magases personal drama at this point. No one cares about the law.
