Haha, I love the little imaginations the girls came up with in their heads this episode.

Melie just loves to relax and enjoy life. Clever girl. She even had pads to make her swimsuit stand out more LOL

so much fanservice though. and if it isn't obvious enough, the swimsuit was indeed mentioned in the LN but that's about it. only Mile got to use it in one brief scene. very little source material pulled out and everything is anime original.

Quite the relaxing episode.

The girls enjoyed themselves on the beach though it didn't go well at the end.

Pauline at the end... I see trouble.

So we had a beach episode in which Pauline had the best one. Speaking of Pauline, where did she disappear to in the end? Did she abandon her party or did she take care of the guard that was watching them?

Anime orginal Episode like most of the epiosdes this season . Apprently the author didn't want the Anime to follow the LN

Finally a relaxation/vacation episode, they really deserve it.
I wonder why Pauline disappeared.

That blog post more reads like they let the anime production team overrule them since this is their first anime and they are an amateur when it comes to anime and they were hesitant to oppose any changes (their words). They just worded that blog in the typical 'not wanting to rock the boat' Japanese way but the overall impression is that this is not exactly what they wanted.

So basically a comedic fanservice episode

The end was pretty sudden? At first I thought the soldier might be related to Mile but looks like it's Pauline's turn.

Are we going to get a small arc for Mavis too then?

Episode was fairly lackluster to me, the ending was really the only exciting part of this episode.

Although I have a hatred for beach episodes lmfao.

Ah yes, the beach episode. Plenty of moe scenes and moments to ease the heart. Looks like Pauline is getting an arc next. I still can't believe my mom's name is in an anime lol, never would have fucking thought.
This was just what I needed to calm down after Babylon.

Seems like a rogue service episode that passes through all anime series this season. Some event in Japan? It certainly lacks sincerity.

Also, why? What was gained? How was this better? Confus... meh nvm

Given their recent adventures the girls sure deserve a vacation. Mavis's natural pose sure managed to create many fans. Its cute that Reina despite her stoic self also has a softer side to her as well. Its kinda sad that in her past life Mile had not one friend that she can interact with. Its good that in this world Mile's different. Nothing beats a beach trip for relaxation though and it was nice to see the girls enjoy their time there. Though too bad it ended rather badly for them. Overall a pretty chill ep that gave the girls an excellent opportunity to relax after all of their hard work. Looks like next arc will focus on Pauline.

Quite a relaxing episode. Swimsuits were nice. Gotta love that Mile was using pads, somehow I was expecting that XD

Where did Pauline go? Did she get suspicious of that guard? This smells a bit fishy..

There were multiple cultural references (Mile with her face changes when she was asking if Mavis had friends of certain types; and when Mile had Reina wear the wig). Would any of you happen to be so kind as to tell me which specific references these are?

Clear reference to https://myanimelist.net/anime/338/Versailles_no_Bara, as Mavis is a very similar character to the MC of this story (blonde masculine girl that is also a "swordsman")
The names of her "friends" that Mile said are literally two of the other MC of this series, lol

It was super nice to see the girls in their swimsuits, even though they got scolded for it. I guess Mile's wor... I mean country is bolder than this one, poor girls.

Seriously what happened to Pauline at the end there? Could it be the "local lord/head clerk" incident mentioned by her in episode 5?

Thank you! That's from 40 years ago, wow. Will have to see if I can't find it somewhere to watch. Do you know the wig and bathing suit reference with Reina?

It's a beach half-episode, and frankly from how last episode occurred they kinda needed the break. Mile continues to be somehow relatable despite the ridiculous situations she puts her partymates into, and storage magic continues to be ridiculous. I mean c'mon, what's next Mile, are you gonna store an entire beach house inside of your hyperspace arsenal pocket?

That being said, I'm ready for the inevitable Pauline Arc. While I hope it isn't as dark as Reina's, it wouldn't surprise me either if it delves more into the dark politics of Pauline's merchantile family.

Seems like now its Paulines time for some "dark" back story.

Kinda bored by now, but the season isnt for me so I will stick with this.

Nice episode overall. Glad to see the tons of references are back as well as the lighthearted atmosphere I so much enjoy in this series... well, "lighthearted" at least until the last few seconds.

So, Pauline arc next episode?

ROFL that reference... didn't expect that.

Fan service episode. There was also some other anime either last week or this week with fan service episodes. Every anime must have at least 1 fan service episode, lol
(and I am imagining their naked bodies while Miles is doing the measurements... hehe...)

Mavis got Sports bra
Pauline got Bikini
Reina got one piece
Miles going with the fake pads...

And Paulin doing accounting everyday, lol. Not a single penny will get pass her.

Also, looks like Paulin's giving Miles a weird backstory.

And... "Jumping Dogeza"... ok... Miles... just keep on doing that... OmegaLUL

___ ___ ___

And... RIP... Guess Earth Modern Swimsuits is too advanced.

The Fantasy World's Swimsuit is pretty much old European/ old Wildwest US swimsuits that covers up almost the entire body.

The Crimson Vow girls have been working TOO HARD, they forgot to take a Sabbath! So this episode 7 (like the number 7 in the weekly calendar is a Sunday, a day of rest), they took a well deserved rest.

Sheesh, Pauline is still as scary about anything AND everything. But her conception of Mile is getting more weirder and crazier...

Mavis on her day off, coming off from royalty, she is absolutely the look, and the Rose of Versailles reference.

Reina, totally gung-ho about her lady-shopping is just too funny uWu xD

But Mile, used to the daily hindrances of the human world, just feels boring in the other world without anything to pass the time.

In another sense, going to the beach is a good alternative, and Mile is giving them hands-down on what to expect in wearing swimsuits. Plus, measuring them for correct size. Fanservice galore! Mavis's swimsuit fits her solid body build, Pauline's for her petite body and boobs, glorious boobs. Last but not least, Reina with her kidlike stature. And of course, Mile has padding, BECAUSE WHY NOT? Turns out that was a disaster as the other world doesn't discern for such stuff like Japan.

With the final moments being Pauline-centric, seems that her "dark" backstory is here to stay. Kinda interested for hers.

Lol she told her friends the story of Monte Cristo and now they think that's her story

Mile thinks it's because she has friends now that she can't spend time alone, but she was right the first time. There's literally NO entertainment in that world like TV or internet to keep people occupied with themselves.
