Welp, that went from a cheerul holiday spirit to what looks like hell in the scenes after the ED song.

Dunno how I feel about the date idea but it does have some casual feel added to this show.

Nice to see tokunana members having time of their life.

Vietnamese food getting some love this episode. It's kinda nice to see a different cuisine mentioned. Anime rarely mentions any other cuisine other than japanese, european and american.

Didn't expect that scared freak to be a former member of tokunana as well as savior of rookie's life.

An episode showing the Special 7' s downtime, with their loved ones. The dwarf-elf hybrid looked really cute, and of courses Ninja'd do what any tech person'd do, just stay online!

Boring chilled episode.

But at least, we got a backstory of Luka's backstory and how he's related to the incident of nine years ago. I expected for warlock to be involved in his backstory, but it would be nice if the series goes deep into the backstory, because the post-credit wasn't enough for me. For myself, I'm more interested to what did Nijo found there that'll be catastrophic for the special 7?

Story is not mind blowing but the anime itself is just a casual fling.

A chill breather episode after the craziness that happened during the last couple episodes. I'm curious to find out what Nijo saw on that laptop and what effect it will have going forward.
People on MAL refuse to actually enjoy watching anime.

A nice episode but I wonder why they were so lazy with Shikisaki's partner. Are they lazy or have something to hide...?

That joke about harassment was quite nice (as of course, he didn't mean it as date, but Nakatsuki still took it so seriously). And no, harassment on their own are not funny, it's just the situation.

Wow, this is the first episode in this series that I thoroughly enjoyed honestly. I loved how chill it was. My favourite thing about this episode is that it shows us the daily and personal lives of the Tokunana, with their families. Wasn't expecting that vampire to have such a loving, gentle husband and her blushing every time he says a lovey dovey line was so heartwarming to see.

But the sniper is best dad. So he's a dwarf? And he fell in love with an elf? And so they have an elf-dwarf hybrid daughter who is super cute? Damn, I love that guy now. And his family. Wonder why they meet so rarely though.

I really loved how chill and down to earth most of this episode is. It's the first time I've felt like I like the characters, their interactions, and what happens to them.

Does no one mention that the 7th day is always a Sabbath day? Timeout for the Tokunana members, except Rookie Seiji and the leader boss.

A former Tokunana member, Luka Mizuma, got assimilated in the terrorist attack NINE years ago, I'm guessing that Episode 9 will reveal all that happened back then between Special 7 and Nine (if you'd catch on to the episode title names, especially the number). But the thing that's similar in both Luka and Seiji, is not just being a "justice" police officer 1st then being part of Special 7 2nd, is that strange Dragon magic utilized. What it is, we'll not know as of yet...until the final moments of the episode.

For Nijo though, even in an off-day does he not rest, but discovered the very thing that could offset the team's demise.

But for the most part of this episode, this is a homely feel of the team's gathering in the most basic of lives when not fighting evil.

It's the post-ED credits that this show TRULY shows its main plot, as the magic of the dragons will play a significant part now. How all that transpired, I want to know.

The calm before the storm, the guy who was with the vampire girl is definitely one of the villains. Also I wonder what Nijo found out, maybe one of the special 7 member will betray them or something.

Akane's husband/boyfriend is such a smooth guy. Those blushes were really cute.

Nice to have an episode focused on the cast just having a day-off. Good balance between chill atmosphere and plot progression. Wonder what Nijou saw in the end tho.
