| In the relations to the Naruto manga, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is listed as a spin-off despite continuing directly after the ending epilogue of Naruto. The same goes for Naruto Gaiden, which is listed as a side story despite falling under the same category as Boruto. The anime versions of Boruto are all listed as sequels of Naruto Shippuden so I don't really see a reason why the manga can be considered a spin-off when covering roughly the same material as the anime. I can get initial hesitation, but it has been publishing for over 3 years and there is no way it can not be considered a sequel. |
