This second ebola vaccine is not a vaccine for outbreak areas (It requires 2 doses and isn't a "live" vaccine), making it more in line with a traditional vaccine, you get the shot just in case an outbreak happens and to maintain herd immunity.

Also, it seems to have less side effects than the ebola vaccine. However, the stigma over the ebola vaccines are still present and needs to be addressed next. You got to hand it to Johnson & Johnson and Merck, they may end up eradicating ebola eventually.

Johnson & Johnson doesn't have a good track record. I don't know about Merck

I second this. Johnson & Johnson is an extremely questionable company which I have personal experience with. I won't say anything more but there's a reason multiple lawsuits are constantly ongoing.

One step closer to fixing problem number 1,895,453,343,345.

Joking aside, it really is a good step forward.

Personal experience? From use of a product by you or someone you know or do you mean you worked for them?

Use of a product, rather not go into too much detail since it was a legal ordeal.
