Yes, this is all you care about. Plot is obviously not a thing you care about. Government is forcing people to marry selected candidates (sick idea). If you not accept there will be serious consequences. They are not good guys. Lilina is government candidate. Her win is government win.
On the other hand Misaki is a girl that Mc loves, girl that he chose himself.
Moreover Misaki is way better than Lilina.

I wonder how much longer author plans to hide this information. This must be something incredible serious. Misaki deeply loves Mc but she is willing to sacrifice her happines.
