I myself don't celebrate Halloween since I'm from Europe and Halloween, for the most part, isn't celebrated here and I'm not interested in the ''spooky'' aesthetic of Halloween so I just spend all of October like I normally do and not prepare for Halloween.

How do other people who don't celebrate Halloween how do you feel about the holiday and or what do you do on the holiday?

Not being American, like most days of the year; I'm only American on 6 June, and 14 October, at which point I feel a strange urge to instead write this as "June 6" and "October 14".

I don't remember ever doing anything out of the ordinary for halloween.

Quite so — it seems to be a curry soup of some sorts; it fills me with inspiration.

Doing absolutely nothing different from other days. Some years I went to some parties that were trying to imitate american tradition, but there's nothing special, it was just a normal party. So, I don't celebrate nor do I know someone irl that does.

I used to be much more excited for Sint Maarten.

Tomorrow I have work so I can't really do a whole lot for halloween. Maybe I'll get some weed or something, go to some bars, idk.

i used to go trick-or-treating when i was little and i guess there was a period of time
when i'd dress up for parties ... nowadays i mostly just enjoy all the cute halloween
art that artists post on twitter/pixiv and such, but i really don't celebrate it in any
particularly special way. i do enjoy the spooky festive candy that's usually on sale tho!

I come from a country that doesn't celebrate Halloween, so on that day I usually don't do anything special, just things I do daily. To get into the mood, I might watch a couple of horror videos on YT before going to bed, but I doubt it since I watch a Chinese drama that has 50 episodes, and I just finished ep 16 and have a lot more to see, and have other dramas and anime waiting to be finished.
Halloween is tomorrow, right?

Hehe, thanks. Btw, good choice to put Maka as your avatar and signature. I really liked her too. Funny coincidence, I was just talking with a friend not too long ago about Soul Eater hahaha.

I stopped "celebrating" Halloween for quite some time now, mainly because Oct 31st has been either really cold or rainy days these past few years.

Just treat it as any other normal day I guess

As boring as it sounds (and is) I will be at uni tomorrow ahaha. I lowkey wish we could celebrate halloween here, like properly celebrate it, because it seems fun. But here it mostly consists of younger children going trick or treating and young adults partying.

Never been much of a Halloween person (Except when I was younger, i.e. the age that one would go trick or treating), so I'll probably pretend I'm not home for any trick or treaters that might come by this year as usual.
Summertime days, passing gently
Sunlight, leading to an encounter;
Dreams that don't want to end
Continue onwards toward the next day
While she waits in the air.

I don't celebrate any kind of "holidays" even my birthday. As for what I'll be doing tomorrow...the same as I always do... drawing, reading, sleep, shop for/try new art supplies since there are a lot of 50% off deals going on currently at my local stores, plus it's my day off, so yea...

It's not celebrated where I live, so I don't think about it. I'm mostly reminded by it because some online games feature events based on it.

I'll probably do what most people I know here in the UK do. Shut all the curtains, turn off all the lights and pretend I'm not home. Then sit in the dark for a few hours, moaning about how this once-great country and its ancient customs are slowly being destroyed by pervasive American commercialism.

I'm as unproductive as I always am.
I just make sure to turn off the lights so people don't come expecting candy I don't have.
Being forced to purchase an abundance of addictive sugar commodity to not upset the kids is a gross conspiracy I will not participate in.

I can see you

We don't celebrate Halloween where I live, but some people celebrate the Day of Saints Cosmas and Damian, an Afro/Catholic tradition. During this day, which is on September 27, people give all kinds of candy to kids, since Cosmas and Damian are the patrons saints of children according to Catholic tradition. So it's like Halloween but not spooky.

I'm from Argentina and we don't celebrate Halloween. It's a shame but I really like it. Why wasn't i born in Europe or America?
All weebs creatures of the galaxy, hear this message. Those of you who listen will not be struck by western animation. You will no longer know hunger, nor pain. Your Anime have come to lead you now. Our strength shall serve as a luminous sun toward which all intelligence may blossom. And the impervious shelter beneath which you will prosper. However, for those who refuse our offer and cling to their western animation ways… For you, there will be great wrath.

There arent many countries in Europe that celebrate Halloween (I think its only Ireland and UK?) but in Europe we have something different I don't know the exact translation of it in English so let's just go with Carnival so basically in late February kids would dress up just like they do with Halloween but there isn't that spooky aesthetic or that kids will go when its nighttime and they dont get candy they usually get a little bit of money and eggs thats at least what they get mostly here I dont know for other places that celebrate it

Obviously I just do some ordinary stuff, but I am generally highly annoyed that a set of ancient beliefs has been turned into a reason imported from American culture for people to feel compelled to buy pointless tat from supermarkets and for children to be sent out to engage in what can be low level crime activities. (If visiting a nonconsenting house.)

Same for me, Halloween isn't really a big thing where I live. The shops are full of decorations though, for commercial reasons; and there are some Halloween parties going on.

I never did anything special on that day though, I'm usually spending it like any other regular day.

For some years now I at least were able to marathon horror movies on Halloween, but this year whole day went on traveling to my hometown for weekend so I wasn't able to.

We here don't have exactly something like that. During Palm sunday kids here dress as witches (boys and girls both) and go around from door to door saying a rhyme wishing good health. Then they get chocolate eggs or other candy (before it was eggs) and those witches give you decorated pussy willow branches. Other tradition is after Christmas on St. Knut's Day group of kids dressed in a costume go door to door singing and they get candies. However before wars instead of kids it was an adult male dressed "threateningly" (think of Krampus) demanding leftover Christmas food and beverage from the household, who if not given those could decide to destroy something.

Halloween is not a holiday where I'm from, but the day it's on is in other parts of Germany, though two years ago, it was also a public holiday over here.

I prepare for a birthday party and find Halloween a bit annoying, but fortunately, it gets quieter and quieter with every passing year.

My twin brother's black cat named Salem was ironically killed this halloween by a car. (she was only 5 years old)
I dug her grave the next day, it was one of the saddest days of my life and the worst halloween ever (a holiday which I usually enjoy)
