| Dun like the OP, but man, this is some pretty animation. Quite a good show so far, as far as Fate fans and those who know the lore are concerned. Because only fucking retards score a show before the last 1/3 of episodes are out, let alone when only 2 episodes of 21 are out. |

| A vast improvement from the last episode, thanks to Merlin having such charisma and chemistry to bounce off the cast. Plus that small character moment with Ana and the guard. I liked the OP a lot, very fitting for the first peppy and bright half of Babylonia. It'll surely change midway. |

| well the sound is usually under appreciated. For me I found the use of the musics to be very appropriate. Rly love the Gilgamesh theme playing the moment he stood up. Bone chilling. PS: Making siduri so good looking is only gonna make me suffer more later. DAMN IT!! T^T |

| Da Vinci and Romani sipping coffee in the background had me dying. My God, I'm not a FGO player but I'm loving this adaptation so much xD Also, it seems I'm the only one who was excited when Leonidas showed up... oh well. So keeping those beasts at bay for six months, uh? I wouldn't expect any less from him but now, I can't wait to see Ushi and Benkei too. Overall, great episode. I'm really liking the pacing so far and the moments dedicated to characters exposition are well balanced as well. Not heavy or boring in the slightest. The OP and ED are also nice, by the way. The fight scene, though a bit brief, was stunning in terms of animation and directing. Honestly, the general aesthetic and scenery of the show are very impressive (the level of detail Uruk has is incredible) so I really hope CloverWorks can keep this level of quality throughout the season. |

| That "Die,Merlin! Foooouu!" made laugh so much. Holy damn, good op and ed, solid stuff right here 8/10 for now, depending on how they handle this from now on, especially, on the latter parts of the singularity this might end as a 9/10 for me. Really enjoying it so far. |

It is, though. (not a real spoiler, but I guess anime-only people shouldn't read it) There's nothing bad about FGO, but I'm pretty sure it's not for everyone. |

| I'm sick to hear the term "Issekai" used as a generic high fantasy story+mix with fantasy science and time travel. It's Doctor Who "Issekai" now? Not that's anything wrong with Issekai: Escaflowne, Narnia, Twelve Kingdoms, and other unforgettable works are based on such a premise. RedolentSerenity said: That scene with Gil makes no sense. Why would a KING fight some weird people the very instant he meets them? That shit screams "hey, I'm a fucking game adaptation. and the player is supposed to kick that guy's ass right about now" which is NOT a good thing. Gilgamesh is aware of Chaldea and that they have fixed six singularities prior. There are other reasons that aren't quite due to Ritsuka and Mash but it's spoilerly to say, if the anime chooses to portray them. |

They aren't parallel worlds exactly in Type Moon jargon. Think of them as blotches of ink on a tapestry that ruins it that they must clean. | Major step up from the first episode in every single aspect. The first Episode was pretty bad and did a very bad job at introducing us to this world, it's characters and the animation wasn't that great either. Hope they keep this up atleast to some degree. |

| That Isekai discussion above... lol. No, Fate is not an Isekai but a Fantasy anime, know the difference. For the OP and ED itself; They're great! Good to see the visuals now for the Opening, made it stand out and more likable. Also good to see they're breaking the singer-chain with Unison Square Garden! The song fits the opening, great choice. And there we have our Aoi Eir again! What a soothing Ending! Episode itself: This was better than Episode 1. Good to see that regarding animation, Clover can match up for now and especially curious if they can keep this up. They should have a nice budget for this. |

| Fou is the MVP of this episode, mainly for that epic kick at Merlin's face! XD Cloverworks are doing a superb job with the production values of this episode again. The brief fighting against Enkidu, who turned out to be the enemy, was very pleasing in terms of character and camera movement moving in harmony and the sound effects sound good as well. Merlin also sounded a bit smug when he was talking about how he was a super caster, which sounded in a way that he was talking down at any other normal caster out there. One of which was Leonardo Da Vinci, who looked had an annoyed smile on her face after hearing those words from Merlin. Also, when Roman and Leonardo were drinking their tea, they both had an unimpressed facial expression on them, which I found to be funny. =) The OP/ED songs from Unison Square Garden and Eir Aoi sound pretty good, with the animations for them both being even more impressive. Mash and Ritsuka against Gilgamesh for the next episode sounds pretty exciting, I must say. I have high hopes for it. =D |

| Fight scene between Ana/Mash and Enkidu was pretty great, I did underestimate the sound effects during the fight though, those attacks packs some heavy bass... Sorry but not sorry for the neighbors Fou attacking Merlin was really funny and I have to say that Ana is pretty cute... I had a feeling the hair was familiar to me. Meeting the King Gilgamesh, he seems different (nicer) but definitely looking forward seeing him in action again.
