Really good chapter. I always like these chapters that like include Rei's inner thoughts and monologues. So he finally realises shogi ain't what is keepin him going. Looking fwd to seeing how he handles it going ahead.

Ahhh... so sweet... As i was reading, in the part of Kiriyama remembering both Momo and her sister saying that they wouldn't mind having stew forever, i imagined how the anime would adapt this scene... I am eager to watch a 3rd season but as im reading i know there's still not enough material to a new season...

Rei doesn't exactly loves shogi from the beginning, he plays it desperately only to prove his worth, because he believe that shogi is his only way of living and the only thing that others value him for, but after meeting the Kawamoto's he slowly change his perception and started having confidence and thus value himself more. But then the doubt starts appearing, "Is shogi really the only choice I have?".

But well who am I to speak, this is but a shallow analysis of mine. I hope you guys enjoy this series like I did
