Mfw they have a json endpoint and I went through all the trouble of internally converting the xml to json. This is a massive help to know about tho, I can add a in put field that takes your profile url and get the data that way instead of asking people to upload list xml exports which come in unholy tar.gz format that 90% of people don't even know how to open lol, should be fun to add support for this in, thanks for bringing it to my attention. Also RIP release date, I was really looking forward to using this. |

I was using puppeteer to spoof a web browser and steal the list data from the data-items attribute from the table on the list page, though I think that data is just loaded via the endpoint. Fingers crossed that the maintenance they did yesterday was somehow related to the API and we get a release soon |

| Just accept that there's not going to be a public API any time soon (if ever), so y'all better stop using MAL and migrate to other services that have working APIs. And now even VPN IPs don't even seem to work anymore, but that's some whole other bs. |
