| I consider any romance series without an ending kiss of some kind to be completely and utterly gay. F you Clannad. If the second season doesnt turn things around, you're getting a mediocre score and that will be the end of it. |

| What's to get? It was retarded. I'm up to episode 7 now of the after story and still, nothing. Everything's fine and dandy and yet there's absolutely no romance in this supposed romance story. It's ludicrous for an entire season to be dedicated to two people falling in love and then have the ending be him asking her out. That's a terrible way to end something like this. And now, that supposed climax is completely gone and all they do is act like friends who, by title alone, are boyfriend and girlfriend. What a freaking letdown. A romance series should always have a kiss at the end - it's the ultimate climactic ending and never cliched. There only reason it shouldnt happen is if 1. its a tragedy or 2. they don't actually "get together" until season 2 but only their romantic intentions are sealed in season 1 (for a supreme example of this, see Nodame Cantabile). In the case of Clannad, neither is applicable. They are together at the end and it was a happy ending, therefore no kiss is a FAIL. And now, in season 2, it just gets worse. The story is good, but its desperately missing its romantic roots. It's just sad to watch, especially when the Tomoyo chapter of season 1 was so romantic in contrast (although, it also deserved a great ending kiss but never got it.) |

| of all three productions i have to say this ones got the best ending so far lol and i've always thought Nagisa's mom looked familiar, i just realized that she looks alot like areith from ff7 :P meh wheres fuko? i was sure she would be in there |

| Great episode and an interesting ending, I really want to watch the movie and the after story soon. Really looking forward to it. Above all, I think I loved the comedic moments of this show the most and I'm pretty sure thats whats making this anime stand out more than others in its genre. 9/10 overall, with yet another 5/5 episode =D1! |

| I found this anime quite amusing and entertaining. The constant jokes and misleads Tomoya kept pranking upon people,and the way he expressed himself was just cronical. I did miss more of a couple made at the end,but it's afterall hard to find in a anime nowadays. true,they didn't kiss. but afterall,this aint the finish or anything is it? I still found it a good romantic serie,even though it mostly came at the and and as a little to small scale. I still give it a good 9/10. |

| Bleh, totally wrong choice to go with Nagisa as Tomoya's girl in the end. The series steered towards it so it was unavoidable, but Nagisa is just a boring pile of emotional and insecure drivel. Totally not my type and it made the final episodes a chore to watch. Out of all the possible choices she's probably the least likable. |

I can't stand whimpering, insecure characters. I like the ones with a little more spunk. For me either Tomoyo, Kyou or even Kotomi would have been the better choice. Nagisa is similar to Haruka and Tomoya to Takayuki. Haruka being an equally annoying insecure and emotional wreck. |

| I'lll give this series an 8.5/10. Not quite a 9 for me. I wanted more advancement in their relationship... BUT I truly enjoyed the 2nd 1/2 of this show... if it wasn't for the moments in the first 1/2 that I had to force myself to get through, this would get a 9. hands down. After Story seems to be even better by everyone's standards... I am excited to start it! Edit: I decided to round up and give it a 9....cuz an 8 is just to harsh... |
