| Yeah, I probably could. Have a bunch of western shows I've been meaning to watch, both animated and not animated, plus getting back into video games. It won't necessarily be easy, especially because of all the shows I'm already invested in, but I could probably do it. |

| Nope, not gonna happen, even if they gave a million. This may sound cheesy and cringe but since i started watching animes since summer 2018 i feel like a part of me changed, for good or for bad. I'm happy that i discovered other animes besides Naruto (was my only anime that i watched + boruto), they keep me entertained, happy, sometimes they slap me in the face with some sad ones, they are a part of my life now. Since i had to go to my mom in another country and leave my beloved country and my good friends from my childhood behind games were the only things that kept me entertained but now i have animes at my side. I go to work, come home, play or watch animes, eat, sleep and repeat xd. And i don't like the country im in right now ( no offence to you belgium people) it ain't for me, going to parties and stuff...ain't my thing. |

| Uh, 500k isn't that much, and most people in this thread would have it all spent and wasted in a span of a couple years; expensive things are expensive to upkeep. Some may be smart and invest it or save it, but even then investments often take years to show significant payoffs, so you'll be going a long time with no benefit from the money. So no, $500k isn't nearly enough for me. |

Afterwards, I'll pray to the Goddess of Fortune then I'll sing Shane McMahon's "Here Comes The Money" with all my heart 666 times, as half of the 500k burns from the premium gasoline I poured onto it before playing the Grand Lotto. Once I completed the ritual, this will tremendously buff my luck increasing it to 9001% for a week. With all things set and done, this will absolutely ensure my win in the Grand Lotto with prize that is clearly more than was initially offered to me. The abstention by the end will be worth the sacrifice and I will sing my praise again to the Fortune Goddess. | Umm, yeah (but make it £500k, not $500k) as that amount could set you up for life if you invested wisely and didn't blow it all. It would be hard for any anime fan though. Imagine hearing about how this or that season ended and all the hype for new shows etc, you would feel like you were missing out. So you'd have to use @romagia's plan and get the cat girls to help get over your anime blues. I'm sure there's something they could do that would put a smile back on your face. |

| I hate to admit it... but I would say yes without any hesitation.... 500k American dollars is A LOT of money... anime is just a hobby, my life can change and benefit in so many amazing and different ways. no matter how much I love anime, its a big part of my life, I can always find a new hobby and with 500k I could probably even find a better way to spend my time |

Nah, anime isn't even close to the most important thing in my life and I still wouldn't give it up for $500k. It's more like most people on this site have no concept of the real value of money and the perception of living costs, especially if you live in certain expensive areas. That much money wouldn't change much for me. I could pay off all my college debt and probably buy a nice new car, but that's about it. I would still have to work normally and live normally, except now I would just lack the ability to watch anime if I wanted to. Actually if I had that much money, I'd probably just invest it, which wouldn't give me a huge payoff until I retire or when I'm old. Anyone who knows how the stock market works and how to 'win' in it should already understand this. The only people who can make quick money off $500k are those who get lucky or have a penchant for business startups, and that's not many of us here, if any. Seems like a lot of people here are just saying 'yes' to convince people and themselves that they aren't weebs who have no life outside of anime, though that just reeks of insecurity more than anything. |

| I wouldn't know until the opprotunity arises. I really love anime and it's what keeps me happy and alive, but if I was offered 500k a lot of worry and stress would be off my shoulders. I could buy a house, attend college, travel the world, invest, and live my ideal life for a while. 500k would dramatically change my life. anime, to me though, is more of a passion. I live and breathe it. However, I have WATCHED the majority of anime that interests me and it's about time I move on to something like manga, visual novels, etc. Ah, it's a really tough choice, I might just take the 500k. I can always read manga. |
