| I would love to see a graph of each animation studio where their money goes and to who and how much so I can know how fucked over the artists are under their greedt corporate masters or if it's just the industry isn't making as much money lately. |

The industry as a whole is making more money than ever before at an insane rate. It was pretty stagnant in the 2000's did actually drop in the late 2000's and then saw a massive shot upwards in the mid 2010's. So looking at it by pure profits it's hard to see that as industry wide it's making plenty of money. Unless it's going to other factors that we can't can't see. Honestly I would just say the anime industry is just not run well. When I look at the mentality of guys who run studios like WIT it wouldn't surprise me. |
