| Magical girl anime are far from the weirdest thing I've ever watched, so no I didn't feel weird watching them. Though to be fair, I kind of feel like I should have felt weird watching one particular series. Anyways, the only reason you or anyone eles feels this way towards watching certain forms of entertainment is because years of marketing has drilled it into everyones head that you can only enjoy certain things if you fit a certain demographic. Same reason people stigmatize adults for still liking comic books and cartoons. There's more to then that,bit that's the just of it. |

But if you feel wierd watching magical girl for little girls, there is an option for adults: Madoka Magica, Yuki Yuna is a hero, etc. If you like it, if you have fun and enjoy, keep watchin precure, no matter what negative people say |
| As a dude who proportionally watches waaaay too much magical girl shows and other shows made specifically for young girls, I'd like to say I never feel weird about watching them, but occasionally, I step back and go "Whoa, how'd I get here?" Nanoha's seinen series does make me feel awkward with the "fanservice" scenes; I mean, she's a BABY so I find that gross >_> get that nudity outta here. I've seen others complain about it as well. |
