| There are so many music based anime around. There is Given, which is currently airing, as well as K-on! Hibike! Euphonium and Piano no Mori if you like classical music (also Nodame Cantabile, too little music for my taste plus I wasn't fond of the MCs. |

| I'll toss out one idol anime, AKB0048. Successors to the actual AKB48 group stage guerrilla concerts across the galaxy in defiance of a ban on entertainment. Directed by Kawamori Shouji from a script by Okada Mari. All the numbers are famous songs from AKB48. +Nodame +Apollon Carole & Tuesday is just okay in my book, but hardly the best of Watanabe Shinichiro's work. It doesn't have any moments that can hold a candle to this scene from his Apollon. There's a music-oriented show airing this season called Given. I haven't watched it so I can't comment. |
