| I'm gonna be the guy, I don't like this, I have never liked this plot point since it was getting teased, It's just an unnecessary addition that been dragged out for way too long thats only purpose will be to shit on a character cause she obviously not going to win. It also really doesn't help that its felt like the series has lost alot of energy since the cast change, and it doesn't feel like its spending far more time on her and her inevitable failure than actually developing the new class past a couple few people instead primarily falling back on the few carry overs. Its not ruining the series for me or anything, but just feels like the series is kind of losing steam and this absolutely is not the way to counter it. |

Still a fan of the manga, but all these chapters on new people feel kind of tired and make me wish the mangaka would make more meaningful changes or at least stop expanding the cast to the point where I just can't keep track anymore. |

I think it just needs more eventful moments, Not to make random comparisons to other manga but I just think that comparison kind of works just cause they are both ongoing romcoms that have gone on considerably longer than most typically do with no end in sight, but like kaguya kind of comes to mind of what it could of done different, not like pumping out major status quo changes and all that but it feels like one of the big things that kept that series feeling fresh so late in the game is using focus on a secondary romantic pairing outside of the mcs was a great use of prolonging energy and life into the series, and when I look at how komi opted to frankly waste our time with this very obviously not gonna work out love triangle that just shits on manbagi I feel like it could learn a bit from it, like I would of SO much preferred if all this time building up manbagi's crush these past like 80 chapters could of been spent on her just having an actual plausible romance on the side it could of been great. Like i get romance isnt like the most important focus of the series as it is ultimately more focused on just sol in general, but if your gonna drag out this plot point SO long when it could of been doing something more with the genre im gonna complain. I just hate love triangles. |
