First off i would love to give a huge s/o to trace for bringing this amazing and funny game to our community and thank him his big work on the first edition! The reveals usually happen in their respective thread and/or on a Discord server, though in this case I will do both a live reveal on the "The Newbie Club" official discord and post the results in this thread. And this time the judge is... me!! who would have thought it right? x) I hope you guys don't hate me much for my taste tho! <3 To help you guys, I'll also post 3 songs within the category so you have a rough idea on what I like. For the record, you can submit any kind of songs as long as it fits in the category! With that said, these are all the categories, hope you are ready for older categories but also newer ones that i'm bringing too you guys! Categories Category 1: The start of the adventure - Everything has its own beginning and it usually have music so let's give some love to this wholesome starting songs we like. Submit the opening theme of a movie, TV series, anime, or video game. State what it is from. Examples: No Game No Life OP Overlord 3 OP / Voracity - Myth & Roid Given OP / Centimilimental - Kizuato Category 2: In the middle of the path - Everyone has that song that pops in the middle of a show or movie and makes you feel amazing or cry or dance, so let's make those insert songs to roll Submit a piece of a movie, TV, or anime OST, opening or ending themes which are the main ones won't be accepted. Alternatively, submit the music which plays in the background of an area, level, or fight of a video game. State what it is from. Examples: Goldenrod City / Pokemon 2nd generation games - Braxton Burks Digimon - Brave Heart Dragon Ball theme - Danger Category 3: The end of the road - Sadly all stories arrive to his end and this isn't different, but we can make a memory of those stories submitting our favourite endings! Submit the ending theme of a movie, TV series, anime, or video game. State what it is from. Examples: Super Smash Bros Ultimate - Lifelight Tokohana - nagi yanagi / black bullet ED 2 Loveless Ending/ Kaori Hitaki - Michiyuki Category 4: There's more music out of anime! - I just want to test your taste out of anime music, let's see who can surprise me. >:) Submit ANY type of song that isn't anime related (WARNING - meme songs prob will score bad). State what it is from. Examples: Queen - Bohemian Rapsody Prince - purple rain Guns n' Roses - Welcome to the Jungle Category 5: Raise up gamers!! - This is a "weeb" related club but a lot of us have been playing videogames since we were childs and if not i'm pretty sure that you know some videogame music that you like a lot so this is your time to submit those songs! Submit the music which plays in the background of an area, level, or fight of a video game. State what it is from. (WARNING - submitting anime music arguing that it appears in OSU! is banned). Examples: Brinstar Theme - Metroid / Super Smash Bros Meelee Edition Dragon Quest VIII - Cursed Trodian Theme Wii Sports Main Theme Remix Category 6: A travel to the past... - Let's travel back in time, to bring back the memories of all those epic songs that we singed and danced a lot of times when we were young but now have fallen into oblivion... Submit any song from the following timestamp that you like: 1990-2010. (the song can be older than 1990 but not more recent than 2010). Since this is a wide category i'm going to give 5 examples instead of 3. State what it is from. Examples: Inuyasha Opening 1 pokerap rehab - amy winehouse girls just want to have fun - cyndi lauper Mirmo Zibang Opening Category 7: covers - Self explanatory right? Let's show our favourite songs covered by our favourite co-artits! Submit the cover theme of a movie, TV series, anime, or video game. State what it is from. Examples: BTOOOM! opening - no pain, no game / raon lee Violet Evergarde opening - sincerely / raon lee steins;gate 0 opening - fatima Category 8: Boys have cute voices too - Submit a song that has no female vocalist. Example: Yuri on Ice - history maker Free! Ending 1 - Splash haykyuu opening 4 - fly high Category 9: Your Favorites! - Submit a song that you really like/enjoy. Examples: no example here since it's your favorites lol Category 10: Your Hated ones! - Submit a song that you really hate/dislike. Examples: no example here since it's your hated lol To enter this game you simply just need to post your discord tag here or if you're not in the The Newbie Club official discord, just simply post in. You can submit your songs through Discord PM (my discord tag is jaccie#8264) or through forum PM. If you have any other questions you can ask in this thread or in Discord PM. Scoring: I will rate your songs from the scale of 0 to 10. those points will be accumulated into one by the end of all categories. Reveals: As I said earlier in the post, I will do a live reveal on The Newbie Club official discord, and then post the results in this thread. Signup will lasts for 7 days until the 15th of September, you can join after this date but you most likely won't win due have missed some categories points, you will also have that time to PM me your songs with a maximum time of ATLEAST one day before I do the reveal.
