| The title of the third Zero no Tsukaima (The Familiar of Zero) television anime series has been announced at Tokyo International Anime Fair 2008 and on the franchise's website: Zero no Tsukaima: Princesses no Rondo. The third series was first announced in December. The anime's premiere is now set for this summer in Japan. Director Yuu Kou and character designer Masahiro Fujii will return from the first two series. Series script supervisor Nahoko Hasegawa (Hidamari Sketch, Armitage: Dual-Matrix) has joined the staff. Rie Kugimiya (Louise) will lead a cast that is almost entirely intact from the first two series. Source: ANN |

| That was pretty fast. I'm not looking forward to this sequel as much as some other's (Code Geass 2), but its still something to look forward to. Hopefully they can make the third season more like the first than the second. |

| Yeah, the second season was good. right up to the stupid fairy. Just with that sentence they managed to ruin everything that had been build up from the first episode. Instead of end it with something as stupid as that they should have ended it when he died and used the first episodes of the third season on how Louise brings him back. This ending was just to stupid and rushed. |

| well, i thought the fairy was good comical relief, which was constantly attempted at and failed at throughout the story. imean, i wanted to watch them grow and improve their techniques, not some half-assed romance comedy between 40some participants. The anitaXcolbert development should not have taken more than 2 episodes or so, yet they dragged it on for nearly half the entire season. |

Add a hueg breasted fairy/elf to the fray and hilarity ensues. Please, please, make this series a little bit more serious. S2 shines from its dramatic scenes, but the fanservice was waaaaayyyyyy overdone. |
| I'm really excited about this since I loved the previous seasons very much!!! <3 Season 2 definitely had its flaws though, I wonder how they plan to start the new episodes since they left out so much of the novels. Above all, I really hope they have more Saito & Louise character development. |
