Natsume Yuujinchou. Departures and farewells always tend to make me cry in anime, and this anime has them in almost every episode.

Nothing has ever made me cry as much as Wolf's Rain did. I bawled through the entire last episodes.
Also: Death Parade, Rainbow, Gintama, JoJo, Made in Abyss, My Roommate is a Cat... oh, yeah, and that episode from Violet Evergarden.
I'm quite the crybaby lol

Hunter x Hunter with Your Lie in April as a close second. Multiple anime have made me tear up, but those are the only 2 I ugly cried at I think.

The one that made me cry the most is probably Basilisk. I cry fairly easily in general watching anime though, same with manga and books. Most recently Say I Love You made me weepy just because it was so tender and sweet.

Your Lie in April made me cry for 3 hours straight, and then another ten or twenty minutes a few hours later. It's my all-time record for how long I've cried.

I cry at 90% of all anime but the ones that made me cry more than usual would be Clannad AS episode 18, that scene from JoJo part 2 and a few scenes from JoJo part 5;

I don't remember the episode name but one of the episodes of Pokemon where Pikachu left Ash temporarily to be with a group of other Pikachu's, seeing Ash run away crying broke me as a child, as an adult, probably FMA or the ending to Code Geass.

I know what you mean! Gintama has made me cry from joy, from sadness and from laughter, and made me feel all kinds of emotion. That's why it's my favourite anime.

Kimetsu no Yaiba, first episode made me cry. When Susamaru was defeated I cried.

Re:Zero made me cry. Especially episode 18. Also, during the epic final fight when everything is serious and tense and suddenly the Pearlbaton siblings show up. My emotions got confused and I laughed/cried from the sudden cuteness. :/

( It feels so weird crying to something like anime. I cried a bit when my dad died ten years ago and since then, nothing. Then my therapist made me realize stuff and now I cry when watching sad anime, cute anime and funny anime. )

Being a pure phlegmatic I'm not too sensitive but I still like emotional scenes and have watched lots of those which really touched me. I don't know actual reasons but I (a 28 year-old man) really cried over the episode of
in Made in Abyss

Only 4 anime ever have made me cry. I cried during the last episode of Angel Beats, Anohana, Clannad, and K-On (don't judge). All of these made me shed a single manly tear. The thing that made me cry like a baby was Clannad's VN. Holy crap I cried on about 5 different occasions for 30+ minutes. If you want to cry, play the VN. Won't disappoint.

You know the OST songs from clannad? They are deep in my brain. Could remember them even though i watched it when i was 10 and retarded. So when in the past few months I remembered them, I added them into my anime song collection because they were so... emotional.

2x in HxH (At the end of the Chimera Ant Arc)
Plastic Memories

Let's see, I've cried:

Four times in A Silent Voice
Three times in FMAB and Hunter x Hunter
Once in Angel Beats
Too many times to count in Saiki K
No anime is non-canon. Non-canon is canon, but on a different world line.

Of course, Clannad AS & Clannad the Movie. I'm still finding the anime that defeats this masterpiece.

but these are my honorable mentions:
Angel Beats
Your lie in april
Guilty Crown
Stein's Gate
Charlotte
Love Live School idol project
Go Sick
Koe no Katachi
Planetarian: Hoshi no Hito
Our Love has always been 10cm apart.

Watch them if you haven't yet.

The first anime that made me cry was Clannad After Story, I mean, who wouldn't?

And then deceived by its fantasy setting and plot that full of comedy, I was hit by Angel Beats! feels train.

Oh, I'm not going to forget Assassination Classroom ending pretty soon. Even that "Tabidachi no Uta" song still plays in my mind as I typing this.

Then recently, even though I never watch the 2001 version of this anime, I'm getting a critical hit in my kokoro with Fruit Basket...

... That's all

For me it's Anohana without a doubt. Other shows like Kimi No Na Wa have made me shed a tear, but Anohana had me bawling like a kid. It's gut wrenching watching for sure, but that's just my personal opinion, everybody expresses emotions differently and for varying reasons, what's sad for one person may not be so to another.

Boku no hero academia. Guys it might seem like I'm a fanboy, considering my profile pic and all but hear me out. In the second episode where all might decides to pass on one for all to midoriya, midoriya realises(falsely) how he will never be a hero without a quirk, and starts crying. The hopelessness of the scene hit me hard and I cried so hard. I did not even cry watching kimiuso, kimisui, a silent voice, clannad, so it's kinda weird crying over a shonen action cartoon.

Oh that's a lovely anime! Made me feel fuzzy and at peace.. which part made u cry, i wonder?
Edit: Sorry my bad! i mixed this up with My Roommate's a Cat, in which each EP is half from cat's perspective and half human's.
Yeah She and Her cat is kind of sad, like most Comixwave movies
