AnoHana, but i watched it before Clannad or Shigatsu wa kimi no uso. Koe no katachi and Pancreas got me too, tho 5cms per second was more depressing coz of how realistic it was

For me it's a tie between:

Code Geass
Your Lie in April
Banana Fish

These 3 anime seriously made me cry all the tears I have.

Kimi no suizou wo tabetai (I knew what was going to happen, faucet opened up anyway), steins;gate (especially Suzuha's letter was a blindside hit, made me want to curl up in a fetal position and cry for a few hours), more times than I care to remember in natsume yuujinchou (not for sadness, specifically), various moments in the monogatari series (hachikuji...bloody hell, that was painful), various moments in death parade.

And while I don't remember the specific moments, I have no doubts that I filled a few glasses during the entire runtime of naruto + shippuuden.

Your Lie In April, even rewatching it makes me cry.

Grave of the fireflies, I think none can deny.

Violet Evergarden reminds of what I could be without my mother. Also the pain that a father bears who has lost his wife and daughter.

Edit: I forgot add Kimi no Nawa, though it didn’t make me sad But I was crying at the end, tears of joy they say

Pokemon. It has many emotional moments but the episode in which Ash gets stuck in an ice cave made me cry the most.

plenty of shows have made me cry at one point or another, but it's usually just once ..

your lie in april .. the 'i love you' at the end of the letter
place further than the universe .. when the unread message icon went ballistic
your name .. when she saw 'i love you' written on her hand instead of his name

but to be honest, the anime that's made me cry the most has been this reboot of fruits basket. so many episodes have made me tear up.. the characters, the story telling, the interactions.. it's like every single episode just dives straight into my heart. i can honestly say that no other show or movie has ever impacted me on such a raw emotional level. i love it.

edit: .. oh, and can't forget the ED .. 'one step closer' is an absolutely beautiful song, which tends to just amplify the happy feels that just hit me each episode. it's like the icing on the cake

I've cried a lot, but the most was probably in Banana Fish. Sometimes I still tear up when I listen to the openings and endings.

Monster, Devilman Lady & Higurashi if I remember correctly may be there was more... it's quite difficult for anything on the TV to make me cry so when it manages to do so I know that it is quite a good show.

Anime has never made me cry. But it has made me almost cry. I know this is kind of a generic moment to make me almost cry but the death of jiraiya was the moment that almost made me cry.

Has to be Code Geass. I cried so much because it was so hilariously bad. It had me in a laughing fit for a long time after watching it

I've always been a big crybaby, but there are four anime that have made me cry especially hard:

- Naruto

- No. 6

- Hunter x Hunter

- One Piece

Just finished Scrapped Princess and I have to say episode 19 of that show made me ugly cry. Two of the most tragic deaths in all of anime, might even give Wolfwood or Maes Hughes a run for their money. The worst part is that they aren't even remembered after they die due to the circumstances.

The worst part is I wasn't expecting this at all. I thought it was going to be a lighthearted comedic fantasy like Slayers, I didn't think there was going to be anything that gut-wrenching.

Oh, Gintama came close quite a few times for me. I don't cry easily. It takes a lot. When I say something comes close to making me cry, that means a lot. I was close to throwing my TV out of the window when I watched the damn Hachiko parody, especially with that evil, evil twist, haha! The more serious arcs usually almost get me there as well.

"I like young-girl sexual creations, Lolicon is just one hobby of my many hobbies," he says.
I ask what his wife, standing nearby, thinks of his "hobby".
"She probably thinks no problem," he replies. "Because she loves young boys sexually interacting with each other."
