Anohana especially, thematically, composition and the fact that it's so short really is the most impressive imo.

Violet Evergarden so far. It has made me cry twice, one for the 10th episode and one for the special. That's my top so far, not sure if there will be another anime that will do that ever or in a while.

Yeah, episode 10 got me pretty bad as well.

Surprisingly though, One Piece has probably made me cry the most (3 times). Don't judge me. But the end of Death Parade, twice in FMAB, Your Lie in April, Steins;Gate, I'm not even going to mention movies, and others have all got me to shed a manly tear as well.

Most from 1 episode - Clannad After Story (You know what episode)

Most from 1 series - Violet Evergarden (5 or 6 episodes made me cry)

None, anime has yet to make me cry. I am still searching for the one that will get me.

Episode 10 of Violet Evergarden was the closest so far, but things like Clannad, Clannad After Story, AnoHana, Shigatsu Wa Kimi No Uso, etc. didn't even get me close

The 'Banana Fish' finale really set me off. That's partly down to the shock value though. It's sad in and of itself however.

Depends on the anime. Sometimes I start tearing up and I have no idea why! Lol To be honest, I think most of the time my eyes are watering because I'm laughing so hard.

As far as anime that made me cry out of sadness, they would be:

Your Lie in April - kept it together while I watched the show, then I bawled for a week straight afterwards :(
Sword Art Online (The Mothers Rosario arc) - The ending song got me before I even reached the final episode but I could see where it was going. Afterwards, I cried for about two or three days.
Sakura Quest - This one surprised me; it started out really slow but at the end when Yoshino has to say goodbye to all her friends in the village it really touched me.
Tsukigakirei - Do tears of joy count? Indeed, almost every episode made me cry but it wasn't a sad anime at all; pretty much the complete opposite. Just so freaking adorable! :)
A Silent Voice - OMG! THAT ENDING! I use to cry before but now, after everything that happened with KyoAni, I completely lose it every time.

Out of all of those, the one that still gets me the most is Your Lie in April. I've only seen it one time way back in 2017, but there are some days when I'll start thinking about it and I'll still get all choked up. I literally think I've never had an anime, or any form of media for that matter, affect me the way Your Lie in April has.

After reading these I'm glad I'm not the only one who hasn't cried from an anime yet. And I've watched plenty of them.

Angel Beats and Assasination Classroom both got me tearing up.

Same with Plastic Memories ... oh god apparently I cry quite often. :(

Suprisingly when I watched Clannad I didn't feel anything.

For me, it is 「A Place Further Than The Universe」.

Once in a while, I dreamed about going on adventures and doing something exciting one day. Which is why I was so drawn to this show when it introduced one of the girls who wakes up one day and realizes that she's been wasting her youth.

The feeling of having plans and ambitions you want to fulfill someday.. but not today. Because today you have lots of works, or lots of things to do, or you are not feeling up for it and eventually, that someday won't become today.

However, the girl eventually meets someone.. who change her life. Which is why this show is my escapism.

The show portrays the spirit of adventures and the beauty of friendships. I cried watching the girls venturing their journey and the bonds that they make. Watching the girls grow over the course of their journey and fill in something that were missing in their lives, together with friends who really cared for each other, it gives me these feelings and desires to close some of the gaps in my life.

The girls experience new things, even awful one. However, those awful experience turns into bond because they are sharing the same experience and they are able to overcome the situation together. It's those bittersweet moments that they will look back on together in years time and laugh.

The show reminded me to value the bonds I've made with my familes and friends. It reminded me not to give up. Which is why this show.. holds a special place in my heart.

Natsume yuujinchou, especially season 1. The ost makes it even more sad. :(

Gurren lagann episode 26.

Owarimonogatari 2nd season. I cried because of araragi's reason for his decision in the last episode is really meaningful for me.
