The official website of the ID:Invaded sci-fi mystery anime unveiled the lead cast, production staff, a teaser visual (pictured), and the first trailer on Tuesday. The original anime is scheduled for a 2020 debut.

Kenjirou Tsuda (Cop Craft) is starring as the protagonist Sakaido, who labels himself as a great detective.

Original Character Design: Yuuki Kodama (Blood Lad, Hamatora The Animation)
Character Design: Atsushi Ikariya (Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works, Hataraku Maou-sama!)
Concept Art: Yoshihiro Sono (Psycho-Pass, Koutetsujou no Kabaneri)
Main Animator: Daisuke Mataga (Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu, Zero kara Hajimeru Mahou no Sho)
Color Design: Emi Chiba (Koi wa Ameagari no You ni)

Other key animators working in the series include Keita Shimizu (God Eater), Ai Asari (Utawarerumono: Itsuwari no Kamen), Asuka Mamezuka (Akame ga Kill!), Norie Igawa (Goblin Slayer), and Momoko Kawai (Space Dandy).

Ei Aoki—known for directing titles such as Ga-Rei: Zero, Fate/Zero, and Aldnoah.Zero—is helming the anime. Mystery and science fiction writer Outarou Maijou (Asura Girl, Suki Suki Daisuki Chou Aishiteru) is composing the screenplay.

Kenjirou Tsuda alone is enough to get me to watch. I’m going to be busy in the upcoming seasons.

Production staff is mostly tagged with shows that make me want to stay away from it as far as possible. I'll probably give it a try, but with bottom low expectations.

Wondering if it's purely coincidental that three of Ei Aoki's work has 'Zero' in their title. Just found that pretty funny.

While I did enjoy Ga-Rei: Zero and Fate/Zero among his stuff, I found Aldnoah.Zero to be somewhat lacking. And since this new show seems to be a sci-fi like the latter... might as well reserve my judgment for now.
