THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- That outfits lol. I bet Reines just wanted to see how cute Gray looks in them. Luvia is also back :D Pretty chill episode. It's fun to see Gray show a lot more emotions than usual. These three ladies actually make quite a badass team when fighting together imo. Lol, that shopping trip. ![]() Modified by Stark700, Aug 10, 2019 8:45 AM |
Oh come on Gray don't be such a drama queen, you carrying holy lance of a fucking king arthur as your pocket pet, you were the most expensive thing in that room lol. Next week the actual story begins. ![]() |
Pretty good episode, though you could tell it's not really a plot progressing episode. It's nice seeing Gray have her own episode, but there's nothing much else too it, besides Gilgamesh once again. Everyone's favorite. ![]() |
Worst episode yet. At the very least, we maybe got to the start of the plot right at then end? ![]() |
At first I was put off by the direction the episode was taking, but I ended up liking it. A fair bit of additional character interaction, cutesy stuff, a decent fight scene and finally some bits on the grail wars. As much as I would have loved to see more of Waver, the supporting cast really needed some showtime. The heiress is not as cold as I thought first and Gray is slowly learning to be more than just a tool for her master. ![]() |
Good episode. Gray is trying different clothes is cute. Reines and Luvia dynamic is good. Next is Rail Zeppelin arc. ![]() |
Whew, Gray spoke more this ep than the entire series so far ![]() 'On-Hold' is another way for a completionist to say 'Dropped' |
Was definitely a bit different, not really plot-progressing, until the very end. Was nice to see the ladies have their little fun on a shopping trip, eventho they got trapped inside the shopping center. ![]() |
Well, I guess supplexs are only reserved for Rin... Anyways, ladies-focused episode this time. The dynamic between Reines, Luvia and Gray was quite enjoyable to see and although there wasn't much story progression, the little "slice of life" approach this episode had was entertaining enough. For a change, it was nice. Looking forward to this new case! ![]() Modified by SouthRzVa, Aug 10, 2019 9:12 PM |
This was a very pleasant episode visually speaking, nothing beats being able to see Gray, Reines and Luvia shopping together. Gray is curious about the holy grail war, especially what happened to Waver at that time, Reines is the one to know what happened, but Gray must pay the price for that privileged information. Reines undoubtedly has a good eye to choose outfits for Gray, in all of them Gray looked overly cute (if someone uploads screenshots of Gray's outfits, I will be eternally grateful). Luvia owns the mall, something that was no surprise, but it was fun and seeing how the three girls enjoyed an afternoon together was quite relaxing, that part where they were in the lingerie store was nice, especially Gray's face, although in my opinion I think the option Luvia had in her hands would look better in Gray. Luvia hugging that teddy bear was cute, even someone as elegant as Luvia has a weakness for cute things. Reines reveals to Gray what happened in the holy gray war in which her master participated and also who was the heroic spirit that was his servant in that occasion. Suddenly the girls were caught in another dimension, but fortunately they quickly discover the cause, but before they can solve the problem the security system is activated and several guardians materialized to stop them, but it is the beautiful Luvia who stops them all, this Lady turned out to be quite strong, she defeated them all in close combat with wrestling techniques, now I can say that I can't underestimate Luvia and less make her angry, I laughed a lot about how Trim commented on Luvia's battle against the guards . Gray should value herself better, I totally agree with Reines, she is Rhongomyniad's guardian, she is too cute and besides she is badass, Waver is undoubtedly very lucky to have Gray near him, have more courage girl. That ending was quite sad in my opinion, poor Waver, someone stole his most valued treasure, Iskandar's last memory of that fatal day and next to it, Waver found an invitation from the thieves to go to the Raid Zeppelin, the train where you can get mystical eyes, who will be the people who dared to steal that valuable memory from Waver? I hope that Waver and Gray do not get into a trap. ![]() |
The way Luvia interacts with Reines makes it clear that she sees every heir as an adversary she wants to trump and not just Rin. For me Reines is by far the most interesting character, because I love that character type. She is powerful (in the sense that she has power over people and influence) and she knows it, but also has this sassy personality that makes her spicy. ![]() |

Luvia is on fire!!! This ojou knows how to handle catch me can. Finally the main arc starts next episode. Also Waver remembering the Grail War everytime makes me feel sad as of how the battle of the kings went. ![]() |
DedPanda said: very fun episode...the ladies were hilarious. Also....Luvia vs Quetz when? The chances of getting a pro wrestler cosplaying as Quetz and another pro wrestler cosplaying as Luvia and having them fight in a ring at some type moon event is higher than them getting an OVA or something when they have a match. Its a nice idea tho. ![]() |
Waver makes Trim watch Terminator 2 and now she self identifies as a T-1000. Flat is teaching her about wrestling. What the hell are those guys doing? ![]() |

this episode was fun and i liked the fact that Luvia defended her property. taking back the relic will be a challenge i believe. looking forward to it ! ![]() |
i know right? She says she adores pro wrestling, but she didn't even do a german suplex Disappointed 1\10 ![]() May our sweet and Merciful Madoka be with you |
And Gray keeps her place as second best Saber after OG Artoria, not complaining tbh. As for the episode yeah it's kind of disapointing, but at least we have some more moments to developp Reines and (urghhh) Luvia, she's way more likable here than in UBW or Prisma. Any Gilgamesh mention is a plus for me, want to hear his laugh and zashu in this anime plz Time for the plot to move on I hope ![]() |
Hell yes Luvia episode We got some truly refined, ladylike destruction I'm satisfied for now *When Luvia shows up* Bitch, she's here to buy the department store called it I'm hoping for more cameos of characters I like, maybe Kirei Kotomine, Bazett, one of the Aozaki sisters, or Shiki Ryougi will show up ![]() |
Why did this episode give me so many Princess Principal vibes? There was no steampunk action, politics, or even over the top shinyuu drama. So why? ![]() |
This was a slow fillerish episode I didn't really care much for. The part I'm most interested in this show is how the holy grail war effected Waver and now he's desperate to participate in another. I don't ever see this happening but I would LOVE to see another holy grail war where adult Waver participates and summons Iskandar again. ![]() |
just wanna say this show proves to me time and time again that you don't need a degree or education to be a best girl. Gray. Best. Gril! ![]() >I had no brain when I was 12 >Then everyone must had no brain when they were 12 >I experimented 100 samples and proved that they had no brain when they were 12 >Therefore children cannot consent This is what science has done to humanity. |
Obviously a breather episode, but we get some nice Gray fanservice and more Luvia so can't complain. Can't help but laugh seeing Luvia wrestle those mooks though lol. Really curious about the Rail Zeppelin, but even more curious to see if Iskandar will actually make an appearance again. ![]() |
Was nice to see the girls shopping and Gray trying different outfits hehe. All that "desu wa" is music to my ears, also Luvia with teddy bear was really cute. Loved them pro wrestling moves and Trim commenting lmao. Reines and Gray bonding in the car was really sweet, if only she gave Waver the gift >.< ![]() |
Fun episode. Gray in different outfits was a lot of refreshing. She needs to have a little more confidence in her importance. ![]() |
