| I'm starting to miss the time when Sword Art Online was the worst isekai. Most recent isekai aren't even simply bad, they are a black hole of inspiration sucking the fun out of the better shows. As if just by existing these series actively make the good ones worse. These are beyond bad. They make me think these are not even official stuff, just some amateur animations team adapts some garbage fanfiction in a basement smelling of sweat. |

| Well I got used that isekai animes will never have high scores on MAL so don't care about them for me it's good isekai anime. Only bad i can say about is they skipped their progress about learning magic but well it's only 12 episodes so I understand why they skipped it. |
| watched this and thought arifureta is the least fav isekai in this season...I mostly like isekai but somehow I didn't really enjoy this one. In my opinion, it's kind of heavy to watch. the character and development are really bad. the reason why the mc did that and this is really lacking. like what others said, it's boring. it's doesn't feel like a cheat at all like what the mc claim. |

I still remember the days when Kirito was used as THE gold standard for evaluating how op a character is. But sometime during the mid 2010s, the protagonist´s powers just kept increasing more and more. Even things that were "reserved" for villains like teleporting and flying kept being added to the mix. Nowadays, the mere idea of any of these MCs getting into any sort of serious trouble and not getting out of it is almost laughable, seeing how op they´ve gotten.
