| Is Akihito Tsukushi in hiatus? Since he published the 8th volume of made in abyss we haven't got any new chapter. Is there any information about releasing new chapters or working in the new movie? |
| As we can see in his twitter, Aki Tsukushi is quite busy, but not with the manga. https://twitter.com/tukushiA Surely it is the movie's fault. His work is in a HYPE now again, and he is enjoying every single second of this. We are luck with a couple chapters to be released this year. He is just going back to work in 2020. |
