I'm really not surprised this is continuing to suck, I'm just surprised that the one of the only series shitter than Kenja no Mago was adapted and that people are actually trying to deluded themselves into believing it's the adaption's fault or that this is getting better.

My god, the standards on this website are so low.

So after Hajime and Yue's turn last episode, it's the classmates' turn this time around to showcase their "trained" powers off-screen. Honestly, not my shtick (since it only applies to the LN, not the manga).

The 3DCG still looks hideous...not gonna complain about that. Same quality as last.

On the other side, Hajime inherits the Maverick...no, the Liberator's power on top of his skillset. The amount of over-the-top fanservice and slice-of-life aspect this episode is a good amount of rest for both Hajime and Yue

keep in mind they spent months or even a year or two together so it doesn't feel weird that stay start developing attachment to one another. It's exactly because of this there should be communication between the author and the studio during the development. Budget and time were wasted from the lack of it, resulting in what we have now.

What a pleasant way to wake up, the softness of your vampire lady next to you, Hajime is living the dream.
The episode was going very well with Hajime and Yue exploring the mansion, but they wasted half of the damn episode with the traitorous classmates of Hajime, I really would have liked the Behemot to kill everyone with the exception of Kaori, Shizuku and the traitor killer.
The hero in armor is so boring and irritating with his attitude "I am the hero and the rest are my steps"
Seeing the traitorous killer acting like a coward was the most satisfying thing, it gives me hope that Kaori or Shizuku realize that he is to blame for what happened with Hajime (I hope that this time the stupid Shizuku notices that that traitorous rat acts weird ).
Hajime obtained a very valuable reward when finishing the labyrinth by the creator of this, the ancient magic that Oscar possessed, the ability to create magical artifacts, which is excellent news for Hajime, more power. It is also revealed that he can get more ancient magic if he completes the other mazes.

The part in the big tub was fun, Hajime contemplating all the beauty of Yue and I loved it when she gets extremely happy to hear that she is the kind of girl Hajime likes.

Hajime is seriously preparing to go to the surface, all those weapons and vehicles that he created were impressive, in addition to creating an arm to better fight and replace his eye with a magic crystal.

Finally they will leave the labyrinth, I want to see how Yue and Hajime will leave their mouths open to the world and eliminate those who want to get in their way.
In the next episode the bunny girl will finally come out, I hope that the name of the next episode is not literal and the bunny girl is really useless.

I really hope they will go out in the next eps, they both are probably way too OP xD Can't wait for him to meet his old team.

Argh my patience is running REALLY low at this point.
I don't find the fights that entertaining. I mainly watch isekai for the world building and there is NONE so far and we are 5 episodes in. Isekai is about another world, so I think most can agree that world building should be expected. We have been inside the same dungeon for 5 episodes with no pause in between which is getting really boring. Since it seems they are finally out, I'll see what next episode has to offer before considering dropping. The dungeon isn't all that well thought out and have nothing special to warrant such length.
I wouldn't mind if I actually like the characters or if the story made any sense at all...

The best part about this show was that the entire class was transported but everything else is absolute trash so far. I really want to enjoy it, but episode after episode is just boring. Despite poor pacing on the first episode, that was honestly the most interesting one.

1) Why are they going through this dungeon in the first place? Aren't they fighting the demons? This dungeon isn't even created by the demons but some random skilled mage. It's a war right? Where are the field battles and sieges that'd you'd expect to be of strategic importance? A dungeon with no resource and monsters holed up there serves no value. I can only imagine that there is ulterior motives, but it seems the entire class is too retarded to even have a tiny amount of suspicion. This episode seems to hint that "mavericks" aren't what they think they are. So I'm assuming they are being tricked in to fighting? Maybe I'm just trying to think that because otherwise this story have no substance whatsoever. This is my only hope in an intriguing plot. Which leads to my second point.

2) Are we just going to ignore that the mister hero dude volunteered the whole class to help a kingdom they have no connection to? Some random King tells them they are at risk of being wiped out by demons. They believe that?
What evidence have the king provided to prove they are in the right? For all we know the demons might not be demons and is just another kingdom and could be the one provoked instead.
Do no one see the idiocy of mr.hero? And do no one prefer to go home instead of risking their lives fighting for a cause they have no attachment to?
This is why the MC is the only like-able character imo. Because he wants to go home as any normal person would! None of the other cast have a motivation to fight. NONE.

lets not forget the class morale remain strong after one of them supposedly die... Y'know highschoolers with no formal military training?

3) The MC is over powered, and unreasonably so. There's no reason for him to be this powerful, it gotten to the point none of the fights have any tension in them. Even last episode. It did surprise me that he have that much trouble... But that's kind of the opposite of what one should feel.
Also just because he have magic doesn't mean he can just make freaking guns and vehicles out of thin air.
A revolver is pretty simple technology, anyone that is interested in firearms know how they work. But a minigun? Those require battery power which automatically means knowledge of electro-chemistry, far above what a highschooler would know. A modern automobile such as a humvee fall under the same category.
Although its not that complicated in understanding how cars function mechanically, it is another thing to actually make one.

I can accept the monster meat giving him ability, but where is he getting this knowledge from?
....

The problem with this show isn't even the whole dungeon clearing or OP MC. Sure they are issues but are issues that could be overlooked if the writer actually utilize some of its unique aspects. We have an entire class in this world. Where are the discussions, the interactions, the arguments, the differing views and opinions. The teacher needs to play a bigger role.
They are in a war, where are the geopolitics, where are the actual important battles. So far, it is like the entire premise was ignored for a OP solo MC clearing a dungeon. Sounds like SAO, but at least SAO had a pretty detailed world building regarding aincrad, and a half decent supporting cast during its first arc.

Looks like the fights will have the same s**t CGI. I mean if the CGI was great then this anime could've had potential. Watching it just made me want to go to bed. Seeing the fight scene with the others was boring af. Tbh, I don't really like the thing going on between Yue and Hajime...imo it's just fan service. I don't actually see them as a couple.

Not an arguement. I did not learn to animate, I don't do it for living and I don't pretend to be a maker in this case. However I can still see that this one is lacking quality and I don't even need to be a genius for that, I just need eyes. Also, sometimes it is better to do nothing than to do garbage.

Good episode The highlight was the fact of the revelations, which we were not shown, by Oscar Orcus, the dissident. The power that Orcus gave Hajime, and the truth about that world. Who will be the real enemy?

By the way, the team wearing Hajime is great, but it would look even cooler with better animation.

Ps: Yue is thrown at Hajime as if nothing. LOL. Luckily, that loli is legal.

Don't pay attention to MAL scores, they're mostly bullshit. The English anime community just dog-pile on 1/10s and follow whatever is trendy. Fairy Gone is a prime example, anyone can easily see that Fairy Gone is superior to this anime but its score is way lower.

The fact is that in other isolated communities, the scores are going to widely vary based on 'what everyone else' thinks. In Japan, there are anime that are very well received, and yet on MAL, you'd think they were absolute shit. Vice versa is true as well, since some anime get picked up by the English community and talked way up, while the Japanese community trashes them.

The prime example for me is Dr. Stone. You'd think it would be some golden god of an anime at 8.17 five episodes in but in Japan the reception is totally lukewarm. That's 3rd place among the airing anime this season. But Japanese scores place it closer to 18th.

I personally think this was the case with Fairy Gone last season where everyone just dog-piled it. Weirdly, the Japanese reception of Fairy Gone was fairly similar to the English one, but for totally different reasons. The Japanese couldn't understand it very well because it was "like an overseas anime" and more aimed at western audiences. Kinda ironic that the western audience didn't even give it a chance and went ahead with trashing it instead.

All that being said, Japan and the West are in agreement on this one, placing it roughly in the same area.

The writing in this thing. Wow.

"hello, whoever you are, I'll give you my immense powers even if I don't know who you are or how you arrived here, but please don't use these powers to do evil things, pinky promise?".

Is it this fricking stupid in the LN too? It's the kind of thing I made up when I was 5 and even then I knew it was dumb. Good grief.

A boring episode honestly, I really would have rather some of that god-awful cgi than some yawn-inducing omg we're having a bath together now-time.

Not gonna lie, I wasn't expecting much from this when I first saw the anime at the beginning. But it peaked my interest. Something about the possibilities of Hajime meeting the other heroes and their possible reaction when they see he has changed, along with having Yue by his side. I kinda wish they could have tinker with Oscar's mansion and showed what other rooms or secrets it may have. I haven't read the LN or Manga due to me not being a reading type. I've heard and seen comments on how they butcherd some scenes from the LN/Manga but honestly I don't care. Other than that, I wish, in my opinion, they would've shorten the labyrinth episodes a smidge that way they Hajime and Yue would be on the surface, maybee around the last couple minutes after episode 4. Still, I'm starting to get into this anime and I feel like it's gonna be good. For the people who may not agree with me well keep it mind this is my opinion on this show, you can have yours and call it "trash" or "ridiculous". If you did read this then have a good day/night, and I hope this anime will be ok or decent.

Not gonna lie I've been on the edge of my seat waiting for each episode each week because I usually watch the anime then read the full thing except it might not be this way now that I've watched episode 5.5 which was a complete f###### waste of time and a huge waste of my time waiting for it. I'm not gonna spoil it but basically there's like just a 10 minute background fill then the rest of the episode is just points going through all 5 episodes. Completely hate this tactic shows pull, it's a waste of time and I don't think I can even look at it now without being disgusted :/

Did they just stretch 5 or 6 pages to an entire episode or is my memory betraying me?

Anyway I felt like the 1st half of the episode was actually quite alright, but when the ugly filler fight happened and the was pacing was all over. Plus, the accomplishments felt kinda meh... Slime and Shield Hero were much better at conveying accomplishments.

At first they were pretty much adult like about their relationship which felt was really refreshing! But why the clischee lews bathing scene? Really destroyed what they established earlier. I mean she was all over him but bathing in the nude crosses the line? Oh, ffs...

They used some LN stuff i believe, but compared to the manga yeah, it was like 5-6 pages, heck i don't think the manga even showed orcus's hologram, can't remember it.

I have been reading the LN, and I have to say, even the manga seems to have skipped some rather interesting scenes, after they found Orcus House, there is alot of stuff there, not told in the manga, it mainly surrounds around Yui desire to get closer to Hajime, and her strong approach, but it does also change a bit their relationship since afterwords, she is even more direct with her feelings than ever.
(basically after the bath scene she started to push him down alot, like lustfull predator she is, and whenever she gets aroused, Hajime gets "raped", she is a very agressive bunch, much more than it is show in the manga, while the LN is carefull in the words it uses, Yue is like pushing him down every night they sleep together, Hajime pride has a male has been hit pretty badly, she seduces the hell lot of him, and we cant escape, neiter wants to, just tries to put a front before getting toyed and left dry)

The LN is very long, each volume seems to be around 95 000 characters, you can easily spend around 10 hours of reading per volume, to put things in perspective, the longest LN volumes I have read where from Index series, and when it goes crazy, you would have 7-8 hours on a volume, usually would be 5h, which is bigger than most already.

Having only read the first volume, it felt like I read 2 volumes from a normal LN.
Also they relationship is much further expanded there, with alot of scenes that I have stated above, it mostly them getting "more confortable" with eachother but it does develop their relantionship.

The episodes are getting better, seems like there is some actual progress and our MC now has two arms,I would of liked it better if he had one arm the entire series, but that might make it more harder on the fight scenes.

And I hope the MC gets to a point where he is not so OP, like seriously, if this guy keeps growing at a constant rate like this, Episode 10 and he would probably destroy the actual planet by then

I also hate Yue as a character, her personality is as flat as her chest.

Like the ending scene where Yue and Hajame were standing in the transmute circle together about to be teleported and the show cuts off because cliff hanger.

I felt like this scene could of been so much better because Hajame was just standing there talking while Yue was just nodding at everything Hajame said... this made me really mad.

At this point I want the Priest girl ( Kaori? ) to have something with Hajame instead as she seems like a more interesting character than Yue who just wants to be as close to MC as possible.

Like what makes Yue special? Am I missing something? ( except her betrayal which made her seem important at the start of the Anime, but they done NOTHING to build on that story since then )

So, Hajime became the super unbeatably powerful and Kaneki-level edgy, it would be fun to see his old teammates' reaction to what he's become, or what's left of his old self that is.
Seriously though, I can see the potential this story has, but this horrible adaptation is killing any good thing that might come out of this Anime.
The animation is awful, the fanservice is disturbing, and the soundtracks feel more like listening to a vocal version of a fever dream.

Some fanservices here, and there are tolerated. Hopefully there was no turning back the feeling with the loli. If happen, i may cursed that Hajime, for sure. All supplies are fulfilled. Wow, Hajime is so over leveled now at this point. Can't wait to see how his class mates would react once they see him again.

Another train wreck of an episode.

I can’t believe we got some focus on the classmates for once. Apparently they’ve been training offscreen in Labyrinth and haven’t gotten stronger. Did you see the way they took down the awful CGI monster?! This might have been a good moment if I was actually invested in these characters, which I’m not. I don’t care about a single one of them, so their achievements means squat.

The hologram gave edgy OP MC a powerup because it’s not like he didn’t need another one. Oh, but make sure you don’t use it for evil! But wait- the hologram has no way of knowing so that comment was pointless.

We didn’t see Yue trying to learn ancient magic and instead get a shot of it turning to night. The montage of Hajime and Yue 2 months timeskip was lazy. I can’t believe he created a Hummer...

I know the writer is pandering to the lolicons with the loli bait, but the fanservice needs to stop. I don’t care if Yue is a ‘legal loli’ because she’s a 300 yr old vampire, it’s gross and uncomfortable to watch a undeveloped naked 12 yr old girl throw herself at him.

cause she acts this way i can't look at her as that young of a child her behavior is 2mature just some personality traits are childish, that's why it doesn't bother me, so i just se beautiful romance

also he looks quite young to like not so huge of a age cap like she is just shorter person, when looking appearances of both

there are real life lollis to so should they stay single for life? there is some1 to almost awry1 if u can find that1, and love is strange and works mysterious ways, despite all u said even u 1day may fall for a lolli who is ur age, u may just stumble on 1expetion who u see differently

it would be different story if she would have been a actual child
