| Hi everyone! Basically I discovered a different website which is called AniList and overall ever since I found it I’ve been using it much more often than mal so lately I just decided since I’ve been using AniList way more than Mal I might as well stick to it since I stopped updating my anime list here and have been updating everything at AniList. I just really like how the website looks/prefer much more than Mal and a much better rating system or a variety of choices to choose. Well bye everyone and thank you for everything MAL! |
| I use all list sites to import lists there now and then. But MAL has grown on me. Plus it has large and active community. So MAL is my active platform. But if AniList will eventually have all the features and few design tweaks I will like. Then i might move fully there unless MAL returns to active developing. As this site also needs a lot more features and newer design. AniList is very modernized and nice looking site with plenty of more useful features and convenience . But still rather W.I.P . MAL has been polished over years.. but their progress plummeted at some point. And especially after the shutdown period. So I hope they will return to developing once they done with "transition" period. Nevertheless. Point being. I import my MAL list to all platforms (anilist, animedb, kitsu, anime-planet) . But MAL Is what I use actively because of better performance, bigger community and more active community. Anyhow. Bye. |

| That might not be a bad idea. The thing I like most about my MAL list is the tags sections, where I can write funny little notes about the shows. If you can do that on AniList as well, then yeah, maybe I'll switch. If not, I'll stay |
| Yea it's pretty good to change things up to keep it vibrant. There's no one stopping you from coming back here though. |
| I guess I got used to MAL. I've been using this site for over 8 years now and have never thought of switching to another site. I heard a lot of good things about Anilist tho. I might take it as a backup later. |
