@Manaban
@Johan

So it's stupid that I make threads asking why other people feel a certain way about something, yet it's not stupid when other thread users make the same thread that others have made?
You guys have no consistency in your logic.
I know you're not replying to me because you know I'm right. Cowards

Anyway, back to the topic, I wish No Game No Life, Deadman Wonderland, got season 2s. I remember watching Deadman as a kid and I loved it, but I'm not sure how I'd feel about it now.

Hanasaku Iroha and Tamako Market (technically 3rd season). Smh the 2 romances I really wanted to see a continuation of are only left with those vague endings

Or Love Lab, especially considering romance wise things are starting to heat up in the manga (at least what's been translated) and it's been pretty wholesome
'On-Hold' is another way for a completionist to say 'Dropped'

No game no life. I'm not reading the goddamn light novel. I want to SEE the beautiful world that is DISBOARD. I've never seen such a beautiful fantasy world animated since. PLEASE MADHOUSE! I saw the movie and it was a great prequel but what I really want is a sequel.

Also can we get an OVA for the Succession Contest Arc (HxH)???!! I know it's now finished in the manga yet but soon right Togashi?!......

Chivalry of a Failed Knight, show was really good, wanted to see Ikki and Stella compete in the tournament and see how their relationship progress...

Pandora Hearts, specially now that the manga is complete. Although maybe a complete new adaptation would work better. Same with Soul Eater.

+1 on No Game No Life. I didnt like the show thaaaat much tbh, but goddamn those visuals were beautiful. I would be here for s2.

Would also pay good money for a second season of Highschool of the Dead. I unironically love that trainwreck of a show. I know the manga got discontinued, but still...

Berserk (1997)

Usagi Drop

Sora no Woto

Hanasaku Iroha

Elfen Lied

Any of these, please.

There are other one season shows I enjoy immensely, but for which another season was always an unrealistic prospect as they masterfully and conclusively told their story in one. Above ones feel too short, left on a cliffhanger or slightly unfinished feeling, or just in some other way incomplete like more could have been done.

Underrated comment

I would really love to see a season 2 of Drifters
Highschool of the dead

I want a lot of my favorites to have sequels, not for the sake of finishing the story or more development, but for the sake of just more Hellsing, or Kill la Kill. And gosh darn they need to make an alternate ending for DITF

It would be nice to have a second season of The Devil is a Part-Timer. We also REALLY NEED a second season of Ouran High School Host Club.

Most definitely "Arpeggio of Blue Steel", an amazing show that only got a summary move and a sequel movie, but not an actual second season, plenty of source material for a second season too.

Sakurasou no pet na kanajo. Pretty much the only romcom that I liked (I don’t mind the romance being unresolved though. I think it adds a bit of charm in that the only high schoolers think about arent they bf/gf).

I think it ended well before it got tedious, especially considering the direction of its source material. I actually didn’t hate the manga, just felt like it lost the charm of the first part.

Yes, I remember hearing about the controversy over the manga's ending. It wouldn't surprise me if they deviated from the source material even it went on to keep a consistency of tone viewers had come to love and expect from the series, although I don't know what problems that would create with the mangaka. Usually there is some bitter conflict when the show creators wants to change too much and they feel their artistic vision is being challenged. Unlike a lot of folks, I wouldn't have a problem with that ending if it were a different story, but it just didn't seem in sync with the material that came before it (at least what I saw from the part that was adapted to the show).

As for length, you're probably right when it comes to a general audience, but I have an inhumanly, ungodly long attention span bordering on infinite and could entertain myself watching dew bead up on a single blade of grass for hours on the lawn chair with an iced tea in hand. So if I'm enthused with the world and characters, I could effectively watch them just talking in front of the TV and taking naps for 1,000 episodes and be content.

Teachnicallly some of them already have second seasons, but I will take this as "another sequel":

-3-gatsu no Lion (because I need more of this in my life).
-Binbougami ga! (fuck you Sunrise, you even made a fake season 2 trailer at the end of the anime, now give me my second season).
-Bleach (even if the last arc is a mess, also for dem Mayuri scenes)
-Carnival Phantasm (season 4 fucking when?).
-Claymore (Either a remake or continuing the series after the point where the anime stopped following the manga, ignoring the original ending).
-D-Frag! (Please, the later manga scenes were very good, I need to see those animated).
-Highschool of the Dead (though the manga is also in hiatus forever and the author is dead, so...).
-Houseki no Kuni (that ending was inconclusive).
-JoJo Part 6 (Plz, David Pro).
-Katte ni Kaizou (Plz, Shaft).
-Killing Bites (You can’t leave the series hanging after such cliffhanger ending… right?).
-Magi (But the manga ended, so…).
-Medaka Box (Practically impossible now, but a man can dream).
-Plastic Neesan (My insanely, random, short comedy cannot have only one season).
-Rosario+Vampire (same as Claymore)
-Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas (Same as Magi).
-Space Dandy (Dandy still has to meet Adelie again, I refuse to accept we won't ever have another season ;_;).

Zombieland Saga - although I do believe season 2 is on the way consider the tease at the end and the good sales

Does it? I was pretty happy with how it finished and I can't really imagine what a second season would be good for to be honest.

As for myself, definitely hataraku maou-sama is the one I'd want a sequel for immediately. Death parade could also be served extremely well by a sequel, considering how some aspects of it were heating up right before it ended.

As for "just a sequel pls", then natsume youjinchou, can't really ever have enough of that.

I see no one mentioned Nejimaki Seirei Senki, I really liked its first season and I know there are a lot of novels worth of content for more seasons, I totally agree with the people that said Hyouka, also an amazing show that needs more seasons

Yuuna of the Haunted Hotsprings deserves a second season because the manga is still in the top 10 of Weekly Shonen Jump along with We Never Learn. There are a few girls that are added to the MC's harem that I want to see animated(Hibari & Karura)

There's a few but the one that most comes to mind is Claymore. I've heard the manga continues on the storyline so they could potentially does more.

I just loved the art style, characters & story in Claymore. It's an anime that I still remember now years after watching it.

Well I guess No Game No Life is the most generic answer to this question by now... but it's also still the best one so I'll just have to +1 it anyway

Monmusu was one of the most hilarious shows I'd seen... With "other" qualities too so monmusu. Magi deserves to be completed too even if it gets a bit weird.

I would say Houseki no Kuni deserves a second season since it was really great. OMG!

As well as Asobi Asobase and Grand Blue, they have top-tier funny moments and comedic scenes. I wish they'd continue it, however, only few people know about them.

The chances are very low.

So far, Made In Abyss.

I know there's a movie coming out but I'm hoping for a fully fledged sequel once the manga has enough material published to warrant it.

For real though, where is Hibito?. Yeah, I know the manga is still going strong, but I need more of this show.
