Being excited in that sort of situation is one thing, having your first thought be „someone else would rape her right now“ is something entirely different. And if that’s normal, then I do indeed think I am better than those people.

Baseless narcissism is more disgusting than any of what you said. If you really think you're better than people then you're in for a rude wake up call in your life.

Sorry, but it's a fact that he's already better than "those people".

Ishigami's thought is what one can call victim-blaming in rape cases. This way of thinking is everywhere, maybe for that reason the majority don't notice how bad that is, but it's still good to emphasize (one more time) that this kind of thought are not ok.

Having said that, I've also seen that in 3-Gatsu no Lion and in other stories. It's like "common knowledge" that men are beasts and it is "normal" to expect them to act like beasts. If something bad happens, it's your (the victim's) fault.

As long as people think like that, rapist will also think like that and it's pretty convenient for them.

Also if most people really aren’t in control of themselves, me believing to be better than them wouldn’t be baseless now would it ?

No, it means you have a warped mindset completely separated from reality and I wouldn't want to associate with you either. But I'll end it there since there's not much point to continuing further.

This is something I read on reddit and looked at the chapter a second time. It seems plausible.
If you noticed with how Ishigami confessed, Tsubame looked shocked. Then she looked away looking scared.
The theory is that Tsubame was ready and really wanted to get in a relationship with him especially cause it's Christmas, so she wanted a special memory which is her first time. But after the confession, she now realized that Ishigami loves her idealistic self and is scared of the expectations. In other words, she's scared in a similar way like the Shirogane/Kaguya relationship. She's scared that Ishigami will not love her real self. She's probably hiding something that no else knows. That explains the excuse of long distance because she doesn't know what to say.
I would like to see her POV chapter and see where this relationship goes.

This is quite an interesting theory honestly. I'm curious to see if it ends up being something like this.

You are just as bad as the other guy then if you think that way. Again, it is proven in psychology that human beings do indeed have uncontrollable thoughts that the general populace would view as "not okay". That doesn't make anyone better or worse than anyone else. Thinking that way is narcissistic and means YOU are the one with a flawed mindset that needs to be improved.

Having questionable thoughts is one thing, and the actions you carry out are an entirely separate matter. If you have thoughts you don't agree with, it's your responsibility to work to improve upon them. The actions you carry out, good or bad, are what need to be used judge a person's character. Anything else that enters the picture is entirely irrelevant because nothing happened, no one was hurt or affected, and it remains nothing but an empty thought.

It looks like you didn't understand.

It's ok to think about fucking a girl, even more in Ishigami's situation in this chapter. I have no problem with that.

To think "she is so defenseless, if I was someone else, they would violently force themselves on her“ is on the other hand not ok, because it's the first step toward victim-blaming and for that, the rapists will say "thank you" with a smile.

Again, I know most people (even good mangakas obviously) aren't educated in this matter but hey, just think about it again later, it needs time to sink in but if you're not completely immune to learning, you'll understand one day. Also, other people might explain you that in a better way than me.

It's not super hard, even I could understand that at one point ;)

In the first place, putting aside everything else I already said and stand by, it's pretty sad that you and others here are turning what was meant as comedy into an IRL scenario and using it to put labels on people.

Comparing a fictional teen with no social experience in a love comedy manga being in a sexual situation for the first time to rapists is fucking pathetic.

I love how the scanlators pointed out that her "far away university" was like 20 minutes away by train lol

Wow, I guess even twenty minutes away is too much. Or was that an excuse?

It is probably closer to Aka just not thinking this aspect of the story as thoroughly as he could have. Though to play devil's advocate, just being 20 minutes away by train doesn't actually wish away the inconvenience of finding time for a relationship outside of a busy college life, Tsubame might just be in the mindset where she doesn't think she can juggle a relationship with her academics which I don't think is particularly uncommon in japan let alone elsewhere.

Devil's advocate off now, hell nah fuck that shit you dont do my man dirty like that.

Why are Ino and Ishi garbage though lol?

Respect for not being a beast and giving in to his urges and forcing themselves for her ??? What the actual fuck dude, if you think that bare minimum deserves respect, then you are insane. It’s not about he later Part when he decides not to have sex with her, I can totally understand that. It’s his weird and creepy reaction to her simply sitting there, which is weird and creepy regardless of what she wears or at what time she shows up.

I thought was the author way of showing that Sex wasn't really what Ishigami was looking forward to? He had the chance to have his way with his senpai but he didn't really bother anymore when he knew he couldn't win her as a partner. It's not necessary that he felt bad for her either, maybe it's just a matter of pride for him.

I mean, Ishigami was not really wrong in what he said. Being alone with a girl in a bedroom at late night who wears nothing to cover her legs is sure to raise a lot of questionable thoughts and can cause questionable actions as well. And it is true that many guys would lose control over themselves at such a situation.
