| Good to see this show's back, been looking forward to this! I like how everyone ships Bell with Ais, almost ^^ All the girls are looking gorgeous at the party especially Ais during the dance. Of course Apollo had to ruin that and he seems to be related to a certain guy from SAO lol. |

| What a cringeworthy episode, I also hardly remember most characters. I recall enjoying the first season so either I grew up in these 4 years or this first episode was just atrocious. Hoping it improves. Also am I missing something? I recall the first season ending on a cliffhanger and Hestia was with them in the dungeon. I also don't remember who Welf is, oh well guess I'll connect the dots eventually. |

So yeah, artemis is kind of a joke to him since his encounter with her is not technically existing in his timeline. |

| Well after 4 years it has finally returned. It is funny, i have been a pretty big fan of anime for over a decade and the genre i like the most are both the fantasy series and the isekai series, this one falls on the former with a few mmo mechanics but i want to make clear for some that is not an isekai. Yet despite having all the qualities a generally like about these type of series, i was never a big fan of danmachi which i find it odd for myself, i just could never get into it as so many others have. Yet there is always that aspect to it that keeps me interested enough for me to keep watching it at least once. So with that said, i have to say some things in the first episode have improved it over s1 already, the animation is a step up, the characthers are still charming and the biggest improvement is that the story flow seems to have slowed and better paced than s1 episodes, well s1 adapted 5 volumes worth of content where as this one was said that will cover only 3 volumes( based on what people said about that interview back in the anime expo) if that is true than it shows, So yeah so even for a non major fan this might actually turn out to be great, it might even change my mind and it will go up in opinion. Hmm the one major complaint i have is the motivations of the main villian Apollo, if that rape face did not make it clear than people should read the other comments about that guy just screaming SAO Oberon... Uff that leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Boy it seems almost every god is such a manipulative freak with there own agenda and plans (Freya,Apollo, Hermes etc ), i just sometimes wish there was something or someone that would properly set them in place that even there arrogance of there power is not finite and can lower themselves from there high pedestals. I give it a solid 7.5/10 if things keep going in the right direction and not focus to much on mr rape face than i should enjoy the rest of this arc. Here is hoping :) |
| After this great episode, i felt how much i really missed this show, and i am glad this show is back, so nostalgic to see a lot of familiar faces! Apollo family picked up fight against Bell, wasn't a good decision, but i can't blame Bell, they were saying means things about Hestia! It was even more a wonderfull returning, see all girls with wonderfull dresses foin the banquet, Hestia and Loki realationship as always, bringing back memories! Hermes was without doubt the MVp of this episode, helping Bell to ask Ais for dacing was just an excelent surprise! And what a sweet dance they had, just wonderfull, Ais was pretty cute as always! I was expecting soemthing like that from Apollo, it was enough to learn that a i dont like him, a War game between families, looks interesting, curious to see more about that! |

| Damn,I was so looking forward to "Loli Big Boobs" return,and wasn't disappointed.I love the chemistry between her and Bell,its so funny. Nicely animated,and not too bad a pace,though i'm looking forward to the rest of the season as hopefully this War Game will be over fairly quick. Seriously though,Mikoto at the ball,just WOW!!!!! She was so hot in her outfit :) |

| Haha, Hermes always likes seeing Bell squirm. The dance was the highlight. The main antagonists seem kinda lame though. Overall the flow seemed rushed- and no I haven't read the LN. The pacing felt like they were trying to set up the next arc but ran outta screen time. |
| Did the animation bother anyone else? Really made it hard for me to concentrate on what the characters were saying. Mainly in the ballroom, with so many background characters just staring lifelessly at the camera, not blinking or moving, it was really distracting. It went on for ages and it actually annoyed me just having all these empty eyes stare at nothing. Anyway, besides that, after the first half the episode kind of become boring imo, but I understand it was to set up other Gods and families, and having them all together it kind of the easiest way to do it. Bel dancing with Ais was cute, I'm glad they both got development. The villain seems really generic. I'm feeling mixed towards this first episode I hope it gets better, I really liked the first series. |

This led to Bell and co being stranded, takemikazuchi familia warning Hestia of what happened and Mikoto & co joining and co organizing the "rescue party". after the end of season 1, as talked about in this first episode, she wished to help Bell & co in the dungeon as an apology for what happened before. |

| As an anime only-watcher, and seeing Apollo for the first time, I gotta say...he is one creepy and disgusting AF mofo, as if he was Hannibal Lecter in that infamous scene of him looking at people like fava beans, only Apollo looks like an openly admitted sexual predator. And after reading some more info on him, I'm also told he's bisexual, which explains a lot after seeing that scene. On top of that, the guy who beat up Bell at the begining is apprently gay for Apollo too, so if their name-sakes indeed follow the myths they're based off of where they're lovers, that only adds to the credibility that he's looking at Bell like a piece of meat, with some seriously gross lecherous eyes while licking his lips. At least Freya has some class to not show her lust outwardly in public. I hope Hestia familia beats the shit out of them all in that War game, especialy the midget that started all of this. Talk shit, get hit. |

I've forgotten the first season entirely, but I remember enjoying it, now looking at this, it's horrendously bad, seriously how did I enjoy this crap? Well, whatever. A random group comes and starts bullying our gang, acting like utter children. Of course, their leader is a child too... This will be painful to continue. People feel this way to see so many Isekai and genres of the same type, I enjoy it because I love most of the characters |

| This is one of my favorites anime, one with I really start to watch anime seriously, one of first on my anime list. I was waiting for season 2 for ever, i think it's somewhere next to SAO, SnK, OPM, and it looks like Danmachi 2 won't be a disappointment, staff working on it apparently loves it as well. |

I'm in a sort of different-but-still-the-same boat. My brother loves to watch abridged series. And since most of the anime I've watched I took from my brother's hard drive, I also watched the abridged works. All I have going in into this is YaroShien's Danmachi Abridged. I didn't watch the first season and I sort of thought "Hey, that's fine, they can't be too different". Boi was I in for the confusion of my life. Note to self: never do this again. |

| Good to see them back, the dance between Aiz and Bell was a good one too. I am looking forward to the war game between Apollo and Hestia. The opening is amazing and I love it, I hope the anime will stay like this up until the end. |
