| Now that dorohedoro has ended (at chapter 167) why does MAL still list it as 190 chapters? Is it just a mistake? Maybe to adjust total reading time because of longer chapters? I've also noticed MAL seems to have a hard time keeping accurate chapter counts on a number of other entries, but is there some reason for this other than forgetfulness? |
| MAL considers all the side stories/specials/one-shots included in a volume as an extra chapter (as long as they're more than 5 pages). There is a More Info tab that has notes about details like that, though I'm sure most people are not aware of its existence. |
| Although I don't know if they should consider the special chapters as separate chapters, most of them are simple aggregates |
