| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- So just like i thought. This episode is the first with out recurring recap and essentially the start of wano. How ever the date of 7/7 will be the directorial change of the anime series and also when the new opening most likely will commence. It looks like the anime is instead focusing on Luffy's journey to the borders of wano first before showing zoro and company on wano. In the manga it was the apposite. Directly after the reverie, we cut directly to zoro. But oh well its fine the way it is and i am so glad we are finally here now. On 7/7 will finally be the return of the other straw hats. I was wondering rather or not they were going to resemble classic japanese sound effects for this arc, glad to already hear the kato-bushi music from kabuki play theater in this episode. People who have watched naruto, the music here should sound very familiar. |

| Nami using Soru (same sound effects for sure) and cold-cocking Luffy in the face was my favourite part of tonight's episode. Gotta say though. that repeated footage of the octopus saluting was getting old real quick. |

| A very decent filler episode, the art style improved greatly right after those stupid five minutes of uneeded jokes. I really like how Toei seized this opportunity to fix the bad cut that Oda did months ago when starting Wano. Make the anime great again. |

| Man got some old One Piece vibes there when they're having an adventure onto arriving at a new island again and also the whole carp scene with the tradition japan music was SO GUD. The animation looks so crisp and nice. There's also the preview that everyone has been waiting for. The only thing that piques my interest a lot in the Wano arc is with Zoro fights and a bit more of history for him and his swords he got. SO HYPED. :D |

| Good episode, wish they animated the last page of the chapter it covered though. The next 15 or so episodes will determine if the new director can handle Wano properly. |

| Great episode. Man, it's nice coming back after skipping the last 50 or so episodes for reasons I myself don't know. I might just wait for One Pace releases for the latter half of wholecake. Lot of really fun stuff this episode, I laughed so much to Sanji's reaction at Doctorine still being alive. XD The carp stuff great and the travel through the waters with the traditional painting style and the water climbing was great. OST was great too. Was the art really different this episode? Granted, I haven't seen an OP episode in a while so maybe I'm a little skewed. The PV for the next episode looks like where the art style actually changes. Animation for the second half was great though. Also, since it's my first time hearing this OP. It doesn't suit One Piece at all. Hopefully the new OP is much better. Can't wait to see more Wano. |

| Man its glad to be back with the one piece anime. I switched over to the manga for many months since I was not really a big fan of the whole cake island arc and I wanted to get up to date with the story as soon as possible. I'm glad that I stopped reading the manga exactly where the wano kuni arc started because now I am able to fully enjoy this new one piece anime without manga knowledge. I really hope that they will be able to deliver consistent quality animation after all the staff changes they did. Its looking good but who knows what the future has in store for this anime. |

| Well, this is going to be really fun. I can assure that Oda has done pretty good things so far on Wano, so I can´t wait to see them properly animated. The pacing is going to be an issue (as always) but on this episode was bearable imo. |
| Although it's not the new animation style, this ep. had a superior quality in the animation. The OSTs was also very amazing. It fitted the situation very well. Such a good made ep. haven't been shown for a long time. Somehow I believe this arc can really be good. Looking forward to the new animation style next week. It looks very promising. Funny to see that they made Nami use the "soru" sound which was used when CP9 used "soru" techniques. It was exactly the same sound. For the humor it was funny to see it was used for Nami punching Luffy. :P |

| Amazing. The whole vibe I already get is beyond words. A lot of funny scenes this time. Nami like always kicked Sanjis and Brooks ass :D Damn what are those giant carps and also that octopus on the Sunny? :o Pls somebody tell me I didn't halucinate but Nami used Soru when Luffy didn't let go of the carps right? Wano seems like it's a pretty dangerous place. They were definitely right about that it's hard to get there. I think I will like Wano a lot and I'm glad we and of course Luffy finally made it there. Also to see finally the other straw hats again next week is such a hype for me :) |

| Luffy’s group discovered that many of their friends are in Levely representing their kingdoms. They finally arrived to Wano Sea, Nami remembered that Kin’emon told her that the sea always has bad weather, an octopus climbed into the ship and a lot of carps navigated with them through the sea, they got to a waterfall and Luffy used the carps to carry his ship, in the top there was a whirlpool and the ship got drawn. It looks like Wano is gonna have a completely different art style, and I like it, after all, Wano is gonna be a big reference to feudal Japan and its traditions, the ost changed too, it was a good episode, I laughed a bit with Chopper. |
