| Awesome chapter! Loved how we're moving from stone wars to science wars. The science behind the earring just baffles me...like, can this be done in real life?? Kinda want one lol. And how the heck are they going to make a drone?? Soo much hype. There are several MVPs of this chap that make me stoked about the arc. Amaryllis seems like a female Gen (two faced manipulator type) and I'd love to see how her character development/progression plays out. Kohaku as always is the best action girl and I can't wait for her to kick some serious booty in the coming chaps. Ginrou for me keeps flip flopping between lovable and dirty coward tropes, but either way I'm growing to like him a lot. I feel like he's going to unexpectedly save the day again. Not sure why this popped into my head, but I miss seeing more of Taiju. His bromance with Senku was what initially attracted me to Dr. Stone, because it reminded me a lot of the Hiruma-Kurita-Musashi bromance in Eyeshield 21 (also written by Inagaki if people didn't know!) Seems like for this arc Soyuz is filling the role of naive/pure-hearted muscle man in the team rather than Taiju. I see how Soyuz has more room for growth for now, given that we're exploring his place of origin and that he's more available for drama in the romance department. But it's not the same for me! Fingers crossed for more Taiju in the future. Also, here's a random theory: their plan fails, Senku is turned to stone, and the rest of the team has to figure out how to save everyone. |

| Funny chapter. Every contestant sent by Senku passed. Ginrou once again wanted to achieve something by turning his "scumbag mode" on and again he failed. xD He was a cute person as Ginny, so I'm not surprised he was chosen despite him trying to act as much not-cute-at-all as it is possible. The earring looks fabulous. Soyuz is really helpful as somebody strong, so he could throw it on such long distance and be precise enough to reach Kohaku. Kohaku doing Suika's pose was indeed cute. ;D A drone, eh? It will be amazing to see it constructed. Indeed, it's the easiest way to get the petrification beam artifact. Even if it sounds tough, defeating Kirisame and other guards in ordering get the access to the artifact mentioned above is way, way harder at their current power. |
