Do you think you're attractive?
| Not much aside from what's already in the title. After seeing another [probably troll] thread about there being more attractive males than females and some answers saying women put more effort on their appearance, I got myself wondering what people think about themselves and there's a difference between genders. Are women more susceptible to think they are less attractive or are men so? |

| Sometimes i actually think i look pretty good when i look in the mirror. But then i see a picture of myself and my confidence plummets T_T Like wow, this is how people see me. I must become a hermit now. So yeah, i don't think i'm attractive, but other people have said i am. Beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. |
| I wouldn't say I'm really attractive. I'm average and quite tall, never had someone call me unattractive to my face at least. I think probably women are more perfectionist about their appearance than men. However, I don't know if that means they find themselves unattractive more often, just that they are more incentivized to do so. |

| How I perceive my appearance depends on my mood at the moment and how I look at the moment. Sometimes I feel I'm not attractive, sometimes I feel I am. Both can differ by the day. More often than I'd like I don't feel so great. I don't feel I can really vote with the limited options because they don't reflect my fluctuations. |

| I like to make self-deprecating jokes about my appearance but after a while, I feel it can start to actually affect how you perceive yourself, so I'm trying to cut down on it. Honestly, I think I look average. You can go on my profile and judge for yourselves, it's not like I try and hide my face. So, keeping with the theme of trying to be more positive, hell yeah I think I'm attractive. I'm the fucking sexiest teenage twink on this entire website and no one can deny it. |

| I applaud OP for segregating my thread, but alas, I need not speak. I find myself to be either completely average, or slightly below average. I do not give two shits how I look most of the days, I could go weeks without shaving my face and I could look like an aristocratic mess compared to my clean-shaven-or-fresh-from-the-barder posh friends. The only people that call me cute/ handsome would be old women that I helped, but I would say that it wouldn't amount to much. Standards change with age. |
| I consider myself average. On good days it feels like I'm above and on bad days it feels like I'm below. Either way, I'm not to type to care about appearances too much, so I rarely think about it. |

| People have called me attractive, honestly, I don't know/don't care because in the end, if I'm thought of as ugly to someone else, there exist a person that thinks I'm attractive, and it works in vice versa. I just look what I consider to be decent and walk outside. I've given up looking "attractive", in a more traditional sense, it's mundane, yet sporadic, capitalistic and boring. I have many female friends who are into fashion theory and prattle again and again things like you need to wear "this" shirt style or color because it fits my skin tone, or doesn't, or, blah blah blah. Cut your hair this way. Wear these shoes. I don't care much anymore, I wear what I think looks good--and make it look good. End of story. |

| I know that I'm not attractive at all. When I was still in school, everyone made sure to tell me I was ugly at last once a day. 10 years later and I didn't change much. The only thing that's different is that I don't give a damn anymore, I'm just living my life and if you don't like my appearance, buhu too bad for you, don't look at me then :3€ |
