The only frame I remember being like season 2 is in episode 6 when Eren looks to
Right at the start. Besides that, no. Maybe in the BD since in flashbacks to previous events they have used TV version content.

They were too busy working in the Kabaneri Movie, so they couldn't be in this season

There's even an unfocused effect in the scene.

They are a team of Wit Studios that are responsible for making faces more expressive and retouched. They were in season 2

Am I the only one who think that 9.19 is kinda higher than its true score?

People maybe overrating this second part

Yes cause this season adapts the best arc of the manga and it is better than the previous seasons. And u haven't even started watching this season yet so u can't say that it should not have higher score u have to watch it and then tell your opinion.

IMO this season is the climax of the whole series except maybe where the manga is now since its ending.

Berserk 2016 Anime Director Says Industry Has Shortage of Animation Directors

Animation directors typically supervise the key frames drawn by animators, revising the drawings and giving feedback when necessary. Because animation directors are usually entrusted with the task of maintaining consistency in the animation, they are highly sought after among anime studios.

Him watching it wont make any difference, the fact that he said that without watching this season pretty much tells me he has made up his mind about it.

So there was a specific make up team? I never knew about this, and it makes a lot sense since I have been always talking about how beautiful the faces were in S2, there were a charming and very detailed touch to it in all the characters faces, Historia's face, Ymir's, Mikasa's, Connie's.
And one of the most beautiful things of SnK's animation, is the drawing of the eyes, and I have noticed the lack of that great eye's drawing that was highlighted in S2.
Too bad, I wish they can reunite in the BD version.

I definitely agree... S3 Part 2 is good but the previous seasons are adapted better imo (especially regarding animation and choreography).

Kabaneri is actually more important than Aot in terms of profit, since its an anime original, WIT gains more from it than with Aot!!

Japan loved Kabaneri and Araki is very passionate about it, regardless of what the west thinks its just as sucessful as Aot there

Yes there’s a specific make up team WIT hired. https://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2016/05/08/kabaneri-of-the-iron-fortress-employs-tv-animes-first-makeup-artist
Matsumoto worked on Season 3 Part 2 as an animator tho, her team was busy with the Kabaneri movie.

Kabaneri wouldn't exist if AoT didn't happened...Owari no Seraph too...Same angry MC personality, same director, same plot concept, same composer, same everything. Kabaneri's profit means AoT's profit mate. Madhouse still takes the best seinen series because of Death Note, Texhonolyze, Monster. (Example: Rainbow, Claymore, Kiseijuu, Gyakkyou Burai Kaiji, Death Parade (this one is original)...) They should think bigger if they want to work more.

I agree too. I will give 7 or 8 for this season, it depends on the final episode's execution.

Same. Actually it's rare to see someone who agrees on this. Animation, movement coordination and camera work should be at the base of an anime's quality.
