My question is did the anime adapted most of the chapters? Or should move on to the sequel?

Sort of. The anime and manga are different. For one, the White/Black storyline was anime original, and on the other side of things, there are some parts the anime cut. It's complicated. It's not an easy manga to get into.

The manga is episodic and has no overarching story, so the anime is very different. It only keeps the cast intact.
