▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Interview #191 - @GwaziMagnum ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Gamer and Shitposter Extraordinaire

"Killer of the 'Canadians are so meek and mild-mannered' stereotype."

Could you tell us more about yourself?

The best summary of me tends to be that I'm a gamer first, shitposter second, and anime weeb third. At the moment, I spend most of my time either hanging out with friends or getting involved in hobbies like Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) and similar tabletop RPGs. My lifestyle is primarily that of a night owl, staying up 'till late at night and sleeping during the morning. I lean to the left politically and consider myself a rationalist atheist. I lead a relatively active online life by interacting with different people (or just one circle, ‘cause I keep trying to merge them together). I also have a pretty good social life, only dampened by the departure of some of my real-life friends.

Most of my past has pretty much been either gaming or interacting in different forums, primarily RPG sites until I ended up getting involved in D&D. My hobbies haven't really changed much throughout my life.

To give more general details: I'm 25 years old, go by Anthony, and a Canadian.

How did you choose your username?

That actually has a bit of history to it. Back when I was about 12-13, I joined this Star Wars simulation site called ‘Star Wars Combine.’ As a member, you make one specific character and experience the universe through them until their death. I was really bad with thinking up names at the time, so I used a random name generator and created a character known as Duvnar Magnum. After that, I tried joining the New Republic faction, and while I was stuck in their endless waiting list, I was suggested to try out the role-playing (RP) forum section. So I went there and got super involved in the hobby, and over the years, Duvnar became a developed character who adopted a son. I then needed a new first name, so I grabbed the name 'Gwazi' from a video game I was playing called Gladius. As such, 'Gwazi Magnum' became the name of my main character until I eventually switched to a different RP site that wasn't just focused on Star Wars. However, I hadn't realised their system was different than in older sites—you would usually name your account after your main character in them. I was also unaware that the guild system worked differently, and by the time I did, everyone was calling me 'Gwazi,' so it just sort of stuck. From there, I migrated to a site called Iwaku, which was followed by my transition to MAL, so the name followed me everywhere I went. Partially out of habit, and partially because I was moving with older circles. I wasn't really trying to make a new identity or anything.

Could you give us your brief history of your time on MAL?

Originally, I was a lurker on Casual Discussion. As most users who've been there for a long time can vouch for, it's a very chaotic and destructive place before Rule 7 came along. The forums were basically a breeding ground for rampant racism and sexism on this site. What kept me around was eventually being invited to a Discord server, where I managed to meet most of my MAL friends today. However, the leader of that server (or the head admin) was later preventing members from voicing their discomfort regarding the more troublesome users through intimidation, which prompted me to take my leave. But by that point, I had branched out to other places, so it was fine.

After some time, I found myself becoming the admin of multiple MAL-related Discord servers. I also found myself in a rather serious situation, where I witnessed people doxxing, harassing, impersonating, and otherwise committing borderline—if not outright—illegal behaviour towards my friends. Funny enough, all of them are members of a server specifically designed to 'cause such shit. What's more, this aforementioned server was hosted by the same admin I hinted earlier, so turns out I definitely made the right call to leave his server. Thankfully, their activity seems to have died down for now. Nowadays, a lot of my MAL time is basically socialising on Discord and trying to set up safe environments there so people can't be targeted or bullied by malicious individuals.

Any users you dislike/like and why?

Likes
@Tahmmeow is pretty fun and chill. Can talk a ton about what they love. Also the best girl on MAL :P

@Lulu_Cat is one of the sweetest and most caring people you could ever meet and is just amazing all around <3

@Tsuchisa is a stronk badass and one of the most resilient people I know.

@Tycon is an awesome and nerdy dude that's great to talk and game with, but he has a habit of disappearing way too much ;-;

@effincrackhead is a fighter and one of the most honest people that I know.

@bonauditeur is very kind and sweet to be around... when one can catch her awake.

@Cosmos is genuinely very fun and caring to those around her, but also often busy ;-;

@Aria-sage is great and always has interesting things to say and talk about.

@Lollipop is one of those people so quiet you may think he's a myth. That is, until he does speak and you find out he's a cool guy.

@CondemneDio is a fellow die/battle brother whom I wish to slay many dragons with.

@Ghengis_Chan is a worthy conqueror and foe to many.

@CrimsonLad is a man who will always be behind you, and ahead of you, and beside you. An interesting and fun man talk to who needs to join more servers that I'm in.

Dislikes
There are a few people whom I grew to dislike 'cause of their general hostility and passive aggressiveness to others. They tend to betray friends and stab others in the back, manipulate them to feel bad for suffering symptoms like depression, or just embrace their more selfish and uncaring sides. In other words, they chose the path of causing pain and creating walls over helping others and building bridges. However, I don't really see the need to publicly shame them as that will only stir up unnecessary trouble.

The names below are those who are an actual danger to others as they've already committed acts that warrant police involvement. Four of the five users are from the infamously known 'shitposting server,' a group consisting of the vilest people on MAL who regularly conducts organized cyberbullying.

@YaoiMaster - Not part of the mentioned server, but has a constant (and relatively public) track record of harassment, intimidating, creeping on people, and expressing a desire to assault or rape others.

@aSuperiorGamer - Founder of the above mentioned shitposting server. Probably not the most active member, but creating and allowing the propagation of such activities is a great concern by itself.

@justcaolan & @SmoothJazzDavis - Both have been known for participating in activities such as impersonation, catfishing, info-leaking, and many more.

@ExecCute - Has been known for leaking people's information for the above three to exploit.

There are likely others, but as I said, everyone in the shitposting server can be found guilty for the same things.

How did you get into anime/manga?

Like most people, I watched anime on cable, although those early shows didn't make me a fan. I found them too simple since there wasn't much meat to them, just length. So, I made no strong effort to follow them once I hit the age of 12. It wasn't until the middle of high school that a friend of mine showed me Death Note, which was a lot more intelligent and complex than any other anime I've seen. The series hooked me into more anime since it made me realize that the medium was capable of portraying more complicated stories.

Any hobbies outside of anime/manga and MAL?

Primarily gaming, both video games and tabletop RPGs. I played video games ever since I was little, and my first game was Wolfenstein 3D. Yes, I killed Nazis as a five-year-old (though at the time I didn't know what they even were; I assumed pictures of Hitler was the Mona Lisa). My early childhood was primarily Pokemon games, Digimon World 2 (but I was awful at it), and Red Alert 2. A few years later, Bioware games took center stage, such as Knights of the Old Republic, Mass Effect, and Dragon Age. Another game that took up the majority of my time was Halo 3, specifically its multiplayer. Then after that, I entered the PC era of Steam, so my library just exploded. My main titles at the moment are Divinity: Original Sins 2, XCOM, Mount and Blade, and many more.

My interest in tabletop RPGs started when I found a Star Wars adventure system in a yard sale. I bought it and profusely read the rule book, but had no one to play with. So, kid me would roll up around three to four characters and basically play as the Dungeon Master (DM) using the adventure module as a guide. Eventually, I got two of my high school friends to join me and I took the DM role. And about a year or so after that, we assembled a group of about eight people and got into Dungeons and Dragons 3.5. This lead to about two to three years of campaigns, after which a portion of us switched to playing it online using tools in a program called 'Roll20.' Did that for a few years before recently opening a D&D server for me and my friends. So now, I pool my real-life Iwaku and MAL friends together under the mutual banner of D&D and similar games. The server currently has nine different campaigns either in progress or being planned with several others having already been completed and archived, so it's been pretty successful. This where a lot of my time has been invested in the past year.

How do you feel about how the site is run? Especially in regards to the moderators and admins.

It should be noted that my past few months have been primarily spent on Discord. I don't pay attention to the MAL forums as much as I used to, so some of the stuff below could be outdated.

When I first joined MAL, it was utter chaos. People were spreading racist and sexist stuff rampantly, and those who tried to object only ended up being disciplined by the staff. Such misfire not only prevented harassment and hate, but was also fostering and encouraging them. You even had people filming themselves masturbating to minors and only getting slaps on the wrist. All of this was the primary reason I switched to Discord not long after being on the forums.

Eventually, though, the mods implemented Rule 7. This was more of a hard exterminatus style approach to the problem. Don't like hate and controversy? Ban them all and more entirely. I found it excessive and lazy, especially since the Manga Store being uploaded at the same time suggested it was more of a PR/Business move than a 'we want users to be safe' move. But granted, the forums improved after it, so Rule 7 was ultimately a good thing. I just feel it could have used more precision and care in its implementation.

However, the staff steam soon experienced a shuffle. Some of the old mods left, and new recruits came in. And the new staff actually seemed to be taking the site in a positive direction, responding to situations properly and in the interest of users' well-being. Rather than following the rules blindly (or appeasing the beloved manga sales), they were actually very instrumental in dealing with the aforementioned shitposter server. I fully believe that if we still had our old staff roster during the incident, these shitposters would have ended up doing a lot more damage.

I wish the current staff the best of luck in their efforts to improve MAL for the better. They have an uphill battle considering all the shit and bad habits the MAL userbase had to suffer through after years upon years of neglect and negative reinforcement.

What made you passionate about D&D? Why would you recommend people to try it out?

Well, before I had played D&D, I was forum roleplaying (RP). And what made me passionate about forum roleplaying was that one could write a story that wasn't restricted by dialogue options, or what the paper already said. The world was your oyster, and it was an oyster that will always surprise you 'cause there were others in the RP as well. All of us shared different stories and memories.

However, this was not without issues. Most forum RPs die abruptly, and the pacing was often very slow. It can take several months IRL to get through a single day in the RP time period. This was especially bad when your group has those players who felt the obsessive need to add every little detail, such as how the doorknob was cold and what specific shade of red the curtains was.

D&D addressed several of these problems. The pacing was fixed 'cause it was all narrated by the DM with players responding in turn. There was a time to plan every week, so for the three hours you had (or 12 depending on the group), you could cram in as much as you want. It also added a set of mechanical structure to the experience because no one could just "make up" any insane power or feat anymore; there were limitations set by class, stats, skills, and abilities that let them interact with the world. It made the world more realistic, allowed narrative balance among players (usually), and added a whole tactical and gaming aspect to it. It also meant you could be with your friends in real time, crack jokes, share in surprise at the same moment, eat pizza, etc. It basically added features that forum RPs were missing, so the move from forum RP to D&D was an obvious choice.

On a scale of vomit sandwich to literal cat shit, how disgusting is Alfredo sauce pizza?
from @Lulu_Cat

I would place Alfredo pizza on interesting, but worse than BBQ sauce pizza.

Who is MAL’s best girl?
from @Lulu_Cat

@Tahmmeow, clearly.

Would you rather drink a glass of human blood or a pint of pigs blood?
from @Lulu_Cat

Human blood, although both are unhealthy. Human blood can at least be done sooner.

How did you feel about the Game of Thrones finale?
from @Lulu_Cat

In a nutshell, it was very poorly executed.

Most of the annoying things that happened in the last season will likely happen in the Song of Ice and Fire books as well, proven by the details and everything Martin seems to be building towards. The problem was that Dave and Dan forgot about pacing and exposition. They were in a hurry to leave the show because of a Disney deal, and as a result, failed to set the groundwork for a good story. Rather than allowing viewers to understand the changes and events that were happening, the show became a convoluted mess that requires excessive attention to foreshadowing for full comprehension. Foreshadowing isn't the same as showing, though, 'cause if you look at say…

What makes cats far superior to dogs?
from @Lulu_Cat

This is a conspiracy since we all know dogs are the superior good boi. And I shall not rest 'till this conspiracy is destroyed once and for all.

What’s a quote that has a lot of personal meaning to you and why?
from @Lulu_Cat

"And do you know what you do with all that pain? Should I tell you where you put it? You hold it tight! Till it burns your heart! And you say this! No one else will ever, have to live like this! No one else will have to feel this pain! Not on my watch!"
- 12th Doctor (Doctor Who)

This is probably the one that hits closest to home for me. Aside from Peter Capaldi's performance here being 110%, this has generally been the way I've approached painful life situations. I don't let my pain scare me into exposing myself—or distance myself from others in pain. I always try to remember the pain I've felt and gone through, so when I see someone else also hurting, I'm all that more determined to help them because I know what it's like. I refuse to become another enabler who will simply say "not my problem" and allow people to just sink deeper and deeper into misery.

"Sometimes the best way to solve your own problems is to help someone else"
- Uncle Iroh (Avatar: The Last Airbender)

And this quote as well for pretty similar reasons. There's a sort of healing power involved when you open up to others and help each other out as opposed to isolating yourself and pushing away those in pain. There's strength in unity and comradery. You will grow as a person by helping others through their pain and putting yourself in their shoes.

"We all do our duty when there's no cost to it, honor comes easy then. Yet, sooner or later in every mans life there comes a day where it is not easy. A day where he must choose. You must make that choice yourself, and live with it for the rest of your days. As I have."
- Aemon Targaryen (Game of Thrones)

Anyone can be good or caring to others when it comes at no cost or the reward of popularity. However, most people will cast others aside the second that giving assistance becomes a challenge. It's in these moments you see a person's true colors. You will be able to find out if they do good deeds for fame and popularity, or genuinely care and are willing to fight hell on earth for what they believe in.

"You and I won't find much joy here. But we can keep others alive, we can defend those who can't defend themselves."
- Beric Dondarrion (Game of Thrones)

In a similar vein with the line above, I feel there's sort of a sense of duty for every person to do what they can to help those unable to defend themselves.

"The preeminent truth of our age is that you cannot fight the system. But if you as you say, the truth is fluid, that the truth is subjective. Then maybe you can fight the system, As long as one person refuses to be broken, refuses to bow down". "But can you win?", "Every time I say no".
- John Sheridan (Babylon 5)

Similarly, people often choose where power resides. A lot of the time, you can shift the scales simply by refusing to bow down to those who claim to have power over you. As long as one fights for what they believe in, as long as they refuse to be broken, others will gain far less power over them.

"Even if I am to carry all the evils of this world, it won't matter. If that can save the world, then I'd gladly accept it"
- Kiritsugu (Fate/Zero)

"To save someone means not to save someone else"
- Kiritsugu (Fate/Zero)

"Sometimes the only choices you have are bad ones, but you still have to choose"
- 12th Doctor (Doctor Who)

Topping it all off is Kiritsugu's quote when I mentioned the whole 'hero of justice' conundrum in the Fate/Zero bit. Doing what's correct is not always what's right. Sometimes, hard choices need to be made in order to help or benefit the most amount of people. Such choices are neither good, and they can make you feel like the villain. But you have to choose 'cause opting not to choose can lead to greater damage.

"Power resides where men believe it resides. It's a trick. A shadow on the wall. And a very small man can cast a very large shadow."
- Varys (Game of Thrones)

People often put so much stock in things that they shouldn't. Most influence and power people hold in the world only have it because they know how to play the social game and manipulate people, or they have other people loyal to them. No one has the power on their own to suddenly change the world, but they can make people think they do and cause a ripple effect that then changes the world.

Describe your perfect date!
from @Lulu_Cat

March 32nd.

That's really hard to say 'cause there are a lot of fun dates that could be had and a lot of different things for different types of dates. A calmer date could be just snuggling in bed watching TV all day, and a more relaxed/comedic date could be a ton of gaming. You also got fancy dates like going to expensive-as-shit restaurants, memorable dates where you go through like 101 things, or even those dates where only one special thing happens. Really, as long as I'm with the person I love, the date is already perfect regardless of other factors. But the stuff I do like to do for dates would include snuggling, gaming, watching movies, holding hands, walking around, going shopping, etc. A lot of stuff I don't even think of until it's pitched to me honestly.

What's your greatest achievement?
from @Fizzirisu

Damn, now you have me opening my Xbox account for the highest Gamerscore achievement.

I'd say my greatest achievement in life was being able to be live comfortably and support my friends when they were at some of their lowest points in life. Another one is being able to reach out to the emergency services soon enough when someone who didn't live anywhere close to me had attempted suicide.

What do you like in a story?
from @Tahmmeow

I like a story to ask questions and create a complicated realm. My top three pieces of media in order are: Babylon 5, Fate Zero, and Game of Thrones.

All of them really fleshed out their cast and world, and they had no 'one side' to root for. They all presented interesting and complicated situations with multiple groups pursuing their own goals, philosophies, and motivations. They paint grand situations where there isn't a clear right answer, but rather gaining an understanding and making hard choices. The hero of one tale is the villain of another, and multiple people can walk away from the same situation with very different outlooks and views. I like when shows reflect that and encourage the audience to think for themselves rather than simply telling them how to feel.

What makes life worth living?
from @Tahmmeow

Poutine.

That's a question I honestly struggle with at the moment. Sometimes it's hard to find much reason to live, but I usually get pushed forward by those who care for and support me. I'm also living out of a personal desire to do as much good in the world as I can with the time I have.

How is your sleeping pattern now?
from @bonauditeur

No longer completely nocturnal, but I'm still a night owl. Going to bed around 6-8 AM is still a common occurrence. And I often don't tend to wake up 'till around 2-4 PM.

If you have discovered ways to fall asleep normally, could you please share us your methods?
from @bonauditeur

Stay up so late that your body just says "No fuck you" and clocks out on its own. Or go to a friend's place, sit on their chair, and then clock out instantly.

Would you suggest therapy?
from @bonauditeur

Far too vague of a question. It depends on the individual, their needs, and what they're dealing with. But if you find yourself ever asking that question, it won't hurt to get a professional consultant and start asking them.

Are there any forums that you find offensive?
from @bonauditeur

Some, but not offensive as in Tumblr's "This triggers me!" manner.

- MAL can hit that point sometimes. Primarily in the pre-Rule 7 era, though.
- The site I came from, Iwaku, hit that point when they started banning any 'wrong-think' and people suffering from depression.
- Then there's 4Chan. You rarely hear anything good coming from them, so use Reddit instead, kids.

Would you suggest giving serious or troll answers?
from @bonauditeur

I usually prefer honesty when I can, even if it's blunt and causes me to be less likely to make friends. To pull up yet another quote:

"When people make false promises; words stop meaning anything."
- Jon Snow (Game of Thrones)

There hits a point when people stop being honest so that words, trust, and communication as a whole fall apart. Be careful of spending your time evaluating and distrusting people rather than focusing on what's in front of you. Everything just runs smoother when honesty is used. That being said, remember one's personal safety. If you're in 1940's Germany and a soldier asks you if people are hiding in your basement, I pray you're not so honest as to tell him "yes."

So yes to the serious answers.

What stuff do you lie most about?
from @Tsuchisa

Usually when I hit a point where lying is an option, I'd just say "I can't say or answer that." That being said, though, I never had a Nazi at my door :P

I think I would lie towards my immediate family if they ask me what I'm doing or where I'm going. This is primarily because my relationship with them is tricky. Sometimes they're wonderful, but other times they're in total crusader mode. And that unpredictability sometimes makes me not inclined to give them insight into my personal life and the people involved in it.

What’s the weirdest or most embarrassing thing you’ve ever done?
from @Tsuchisa

Weirdest moment was probably making Alfredo sauce pizza and eating the whole thing. The Alfredo pizza was a normal Delissio pizza. I just added an extra layer of cheese and Alfredo sauce afterwards. Oh yeah, and bacon.

Most embarrassing moment was ripping my pants at work. Tore right when I got off the ladder, in the crotch area. I immediately covered the opening with a cart and went to the break room. I used a black glove on standby to cover the hole from the inside 'till I got home. The glove was black like my pants so it camouflaged the hole well.

What was the best advice you’ve ever received?
from @Tsuchisa

There's been a lot of good advice I got over time, a lot of which came from @Tsuchisa. But if I had to pick a specific one that feels the most relevant to me, it would be from a Youtube channel I follow called 'Charisma on Command.' The advice was to take guidance from people who live in a manner that you want to imitate. People with different priorities, goals, or values may give advice that doesn't suit your needs, as valid as their advice may be.

How do you feel about the current state of MAL compared to when it was much more popular?
from @Cosmos

I feel that was primarily a result of the old administration being slow and the hasty implementation of Rule 7. MAL got neglected for so long that people started looking elsewhere. In turn, this created a specific culture and userbase that remained. And in one swoop, Rule 7 got rid of it all. It destroyed MAL's old culture, but never replaced it. And it also made creating a new one harder by universally banning so many topics despite their context. Because of this, a lot of users nowadays prefer to stick to Discord.

What is your opinion of how skeptical people are about online relationships since you are also in one?
from @Cosmos

It honestly depends on their reasoning. For some people, it just doesn't work 'cause they need physical contact to be happy. I find it odd some people prize that over personal compatibility, love, and support. Still, a relationship needs to fill the needs of both partners.

Others, though, just seem to dismiss it entirely. They basically don't see online relationships as a real bond. And honestly, I see them as being narrow-minded as they likely have never harbored an online friendship. One can definitely forge close bonds online. On the internet, you are able to interact with the entire world and seek those with similar interests and values. In reality, you're pretty much limited to your town.

So perhaps a lot of it boils down to a lack of understanding or experience, backed by the cultural belief where sex is the pinnacle of a relationship. I can understand the pain of going without physical contact; it can drive one mad when they are unable to do basic things like kiss and hold hands with their loved ones. However, there are other, arguably stronger things that hold online relationships together. The eventual goal of seeing each other in person can help make things work.

If you could relive your teenage years, would you change anything?
from @Cosmos

I'd be tempted to warn my teenage self about some people that shouldn't be trusted, but I wouldn't. I've learned and developed through my experiences. I wouldn't be the same without them.

What makes Fate/Zero better than Fate/Stay Night?

Because of the writing.

It fleshed out all the characters in great detail, had you sort of rooting for all sides. Presenting a very complex conflict with a pure good guy and lots of intelligent tactics, so everything was believable and well laid out. It was also realistic about its moral lessons and reflections on life, which gave one a lot to think about.

The show presents lots of lessons and hard moral questions. There is no real good guy or bad guy since everyone has their own reasoning, all of which are solid. Characters mainly clash because of their different ideals. This makes the show fleshed out and gives a lot more to follow and care about. Of course, the animation and everything else was amazing too, but the writing is what really sells it.

Should note, though, that Fate/Zero has the obvious exception of Blue Beard. That guy is just flat out evil with a capital E. But even he was driven to that point by a mad obsession, and eventually betrayed by those he thought were loyal to him.

Meanwhile, the 5th Grail War is primarily told through Shirou's point of view. Now Shirou is one of those characters who seem basic as shit at first, but gets way, way better the more you realize his goals. This is even more true if you how Kiritsugu was and how he raised Shirou. And the 5th Grail War sees Shirou retracing the same things Kiritsugu did. Over the course of this journey, questions are raised. Is it practical? Should one fight for everyone or only specific people? The main focus here is Shirou, and everyone else are side characters. This allows Shirou's development to be very fleshed out, but at the expense of the rest of the setting feeling a bit more empty. As a result, the conflict is not as tense or conflicting for the viewer 'cause we are always vouching for Shirou.

As one of the founders of the well-known MAL Compliments blog on Tumblr, can you tell us the reason for its creation?

Basically, it was an attempt to counter the negative energy of the site, such as the shitposting server, affairs between users, and issues with moderation. The reason MAL had to be moderated was because of the environment, specifically regarding culture and general mentality. So while moderation is a curative or combative approach to bad behaviour, the MAL Compliments blog was meant to be a preventative approach to the problem. To put it as an analogy, people were already taking their pills when they were sick, but we wanted them to be able to eat healthy as well.

Should note that the blog is still open, just dormant due to a lack of submissions. If people want to see it active again, make sure to submit new stuff ^_^

Why did you eventually choose Discord as your primary social platform?

As a tool, it's highly convenient since I can switch between different circles quickly and easily. Since most servers are private, quality control is often high.

With forums, you often get new people who try to start shit, but on Discord, you can verify everyone beforehand. This filter greatly helps in reducing trolls.

Honestly, Discord started out as just a means for me to keep in touch with my IRL friends after we all left high school. It then expanded to me joining one or two servers. Now, it has hit a point where I consider it as my primary method to socialize with others.

Do you see yourself leaving MAL in the near future?

Forum-wise, I'm not really active anymore. I'll poke in on occasion so I can still maintain a technical presence. I won't leave in a total absence, although I've definitely been logging in infrequently. I may get more active again if the mood strikes me or something happens that draws me back in.

From Discord, though? Highly unlikely. I'm very deeply ingrained in the platform at this point, and I'd basically have to cut off most of my online life if I were to leave.

Any feedback on the interview format?

It's long and they certainly take a while. But I don't think that's a bad thing. Gives time to really iron the details out.

Is there something unasked you would like to talk about?

Nothing particularly big stands out (unless in an hour or two I get hit with something and curse myself for forgetting). Though I'm a fan of questionnaires, so I could keep answering questions forever xD

Would you recommend us three users from which we can choose to interview in the future? And why?

@Tsuchisa 'cause she he will probably have a lot of interesting and insightful things to say.
@Tahmmeow 'cause he she is the best girl on MAL and her legacy must be spread.
@Tycon 'cause much ancient knowledge and wisdom shall be gained by opening his nerdy archive, and cause he's just a cool guy to talk to.

That's the end of the interview. Thank you for your attention.
