| I’ve been watching the show subbed until now but I rewatched the first 4 episodes dubbed. I think it’s interesting that they’ve dubbed the musicial portions. The VAs of the main 3 sing pretty good I’d say. Although, I think the cops’ VAs aren’t as good, kinda weird if I say. I still prefer the original Japanese voices and their singing. However, adding dubbed songs makes the dub a unique experience in a way. Besides singing, the English VAs are okay. Not exactly like the original Japanese ones but you know that happens a lot in dubs. Kuji’s is pretty fitting I think. What do you guys think of the dub if you’ve seen it? And what do you think of them adding dubbed songs? |

| I’m really liking the dub, actually! I try to watch dubs when I can so I guess I’m more inclined to like them but I think it’s great that they dubbed the songs as well. It’s always at least a little weird when there’s a music-themed anime with a dub but they all sing in Japanese. I only don’t like that they’re a couple episodes behind because I’ll have to wait longer to watch the finale... |
| It makes sense to dub them since the lyrics are part of the "story". Like a Disney (who's got a better reason for 100%dub since they target also c hildren unlike this kind of series who is after late teens/young grown-ups) although I disliked the Mary Poppins and other live/animated Dinsey movies french songs (seriously, who thought it would be good to replace ANdrews, Elton John and some others). |
