If someone ever tells you that he watched the entire series, he obviously lies. Even in Japan, this anime is considered a lost media. Its original airing abruptly ended when it faced poor audience score in certain area due to televised baseball competition. It also didn't have any vhs release which explains its rarity... Maybe somebody has recorded the complete series but it is very unlikely.

In essence, Ranpou is very close to "Urusei Yatsura" and "Doctor Slump" as it is a comedy title full of absurdist hijinks.
If you are interested, here is the surviving footage of it.

No, there aren't any subs for this, needless to say.

This series is getting a HD remastered DVD-BOX this December. Will no longer be considered lost media. Hopefully it will see a sub release in some form one day.

Fantastic news! Not that I am white hot to watch this series in priority, but it is always a relief to see something saved from complete disappearance.

I'm watching this series raw currently. Seen 2 episodes so far, and it's hilarious! Would be cool to see subbed someday. Would recommend.

Someday, I hope a Fan-Sub group will translate the whole series.
It’s time to ditch the text file.
