THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.

It looks like a climax for this series....antagonist shows up...MC & others are in pinch....zero being caught...quite tense in this episode

This show was better off just exploring the weird stuff and people on/going to Magmell.
Inyou's smug, self righteousness has always been annoying but it was supposedly justified by his knowledge and badass combat abilities....this random, one dimensional villain makes him look like an angsty chuunibyou.

So old enemies reunited, and the past explored.

Once again, Zero is captured by the same enemy all those years ago. All for a madman's experiment on Ract, the special ability of people that reside In Magmel. And needless to say, the kids who were experimented on lived a long, arduous life, with escape inevitable.

And luckily Inyou escapes alive in his Magmel helicopter transport. Ready to take on the enemy.

Problem is, there's STILL no disclosure on the enemy and his intentions, other than Inyou knowing full-well to get Zero back. This ending "plot" feels lifeless after watching the episodic themes of past.

Studio Pierrot, your sub-genuity ends here.

This could be best described as torture porn garbage. The great turn left in E11 was not a good idea.

This arc seems like it's completely detached from the rest of the series. Worse, it's not even that interesting. Will probably watch the last episode just to see how it ends, but let me guess: the bad guy cackles and tortures our heroes, they worry about each other, they think about the past, the bad guy cackles some more and tortures some more, then it ends somehow arbitrary.
...but then again, I unironically like Warau Salesman.

So Ractors can take away the power of other Ractors, don't know how that works if Ractors were known for creating objects out of thin air.

This sudden change in strength feels pretty weird, for the past 11 episodes Inyou appeared to be some overpowered guy who saves the day, but suddenly he stands weak against an old enemy
